Hello all. Total newbie here and This is the second plant of my first indoor grow
It’s a twisted tree Newberry in COM stonington organic under a green sunshine 180v3 led
The age is hard to determine since this plant was a little tiny stunted bugger which Completely stopped growing for a week or two, so I stuck in the corner of my tent for another week and forgot about it. After that I gave it a drop of super thrive and it it started growing immediately. I would estimate it’s anywhere from 60 -80 days
Temps have been pretty steady at 72 with humidity between 35-42
This weekend it looked like the soil compressed about an inch or two below the top of the planter. So I added some more COM , some worm castings and a small bit of COM buds and bloom dry amendment
All was ok for the last few days but came home today to the seriously dropping lower fans and heavy yellowing. I first thought too much light but if I’m correct that should not be it since the lower leaves seem to be most affected
So any help truly appreciated . Can’t tell if I over fed , or there is some lockout or this is the beginning of a fade. Could be a fade since the plant has run quite a bit but I’m not sure as it looks like the buds have a way to go still
Thanks in advance for any help
Note I have have not ph’d my water as I was running organic with occasional recharge and did Not have any ph Issues using my tap h2o for my prior outdoor grow
Have you been testing ph and ppm in vs out? I seen you mention that you weren’t adjusting, but curious to know if you’ve checked. I would like to know what these numbers are.
This is not normal, but not quite sure exactly what issue is.
What is the soil ph and ppm , do a slurry test to check numbers ? hmmmm have you been feeding any nutrients at all or boosters , look like the nitrogen got locked out are that calmag did it !
What it looks like to me his plant has used all nutrients in the soil and now its feeding on its leaves and if its not that it maybe it is feeding on its leaves because it cant get nutrients from the soil because of lock out
To answer a few questions, no I have not tested ph ppm or run off, as I was kind of winging this run. I’ll have to invest in a meter …
I will look at the trichomes when I get home tonight
If it’s lock out is there a solution ? Flush and let if be
I did add some buds and blooms nutes on Sunday so hard to say if the plant is not getting to those nutes due to lock out or something else or even they I was too late on the nutes
No dont flush , just plain ph water , but check the dirt , get a deep sample pit in a cup and check it with ph pen before you do anything further , very important to know your dirt numbers especially before each feeding will save you so many headaches i promise !
