Some leaves look slightly wrinkly and serrated edges turned up

It’s from property line to property line, usually. They usually say something like “the shortest straight line measurement.”

I’ll take a gander at Cruces tomorrow - I’m gonna be researching some other cities and towns anyway so see what else has happened since the last time I checked. I’ll report back if I find anything exciting. :v:

Hell yeah. Go science :petri_dish:

It more than likely will. If Google says 450’, I bet it’s not within 300’ anyway. Maybe damn close.

Eeep… Property line to property line wouldn’t be good for me I don’t think… so I may be crossing every appendage that they don’t notice that, or that they rely on Google maps haha.
If it’s 450 from my current location (probably halfway into my property from street) to their “driveway” as listed by Google; around the corner and on the side street,
Then it very likely ain’t even 250 from the front of my property to theirs😬

Imo if the grow space is detached, you could probably claim to be renting just that space and maybe get away with it. I have seen dispensaries manage to skate on the distance requirement because they’re part of a strip mall and their specific spot in the mall is more than 300’ away.

Muahaha that’s a brilliant idea. If it gets brought up I’ll just have a rental agreement written up and move a bed and microwave into the shop🤣

O.o does it work the other way as well?
Like if a dispensary is already in business can they not open a daycare within 300ft or do they make the dispensary move :unamused:

That would be a dirty trick…if I had a dispensary and the competition opened up a store, I could subsidize someone to open a daycare business within 300 feet and put the competition outta business!

Bahahaha so dirty
That’s some fierce competition haha

Oh yeah, (yet another question lol)
What’s the season for flowering outdoor here in NM?
I’m noticing more and more white hairs on my greenhouse girl, almost like it’s gonna start flowering already, but I figured this would be kinda early? Kinda figured it would be like start in late July finish in October or something, but idk. Only ever done outdoors in Oregon and their seasons/sun cycles are pretty different.

Oh and this is Monty, he’s in charge of pest control xD

They don’t make the dispensary move. They call that “moving to the nuisance.” Or something like that. A daycare can open up after the fact, but it’s the daycare’s problem, not yours.

I honestly have no idea. Let’s ask @MeEasy and @CoyoteCody - they might know outdoors. I’ve only ever grown inside.

She may be transitioning because of the weather - I dunno if you have had the same kind of rain I have, but it’s been so cloudy this past week I could see an outdoor plant thinking fall was coming.

Yup we got a few cooler days with some humidity and rain here and there. Was still probably 90° but yeah I could see that. She’s pretty big so I wouldn’t really mind if she flowered now, just wouldn’t want her to start flowering then get confused and go back and forth ha

That happened to me last year! Got my clones early April, beautiful weather! Then it pissed down or cloudy from mid-May to end of June and they started flowering on me. That gave me the excuse to buy the tent and stuff so I could finish them off, didn’t think they would reveg. Of course, about 3 weeks after that, we had the heat dome and it got to 100 inside the tent for a week or two. Fortunately they survived, only crisped the outside of them due to negative pressure in the tent, went from a 4x4 tent to about a 3’3"x3’3" tent! Learned to use bamboo rods on the inside to keep it as a 4x4.

Oh dang, yeah 100 is pretty sweaty haha!
But I think they can definitely be tolerant of that, depending on light?
It’s weird, my indoor ones don’t seem to like when it gets up to 85ish so I run an AC unit it’s back down in the 70s,
But my greenhouse girl hasn’t minded one bit when on hot days it gets like 120 in the greenhouse O.o
I’m thinking it’s cuz it doesn’t have direct sun to heat up and burn the leaves?, It’s filtered through polycarbonate

Well mine were completely outdoors and as full sun as i could get, i would say they started flowering end of August, beginning of September. I also found those who are in shaded areas will flower first, ive had a few flower in july because they were hetting too much shade.

Which is good to know! The rains begin here in October, or they used to! Don’t know what the hell is going on the last coupe of years, but once we move the gazebo we just built over the hot tub, I will have a couple of photos that will get shade for a good chunk of the day. At least they will finish on time lol!

What to do with that app and DLI?

Here

Lol @Not2SureYet does amazing grows, bigger plants than me more consistently (pssst he just pulled 8oz from a AK 47 without breaking a sweat but he’s done 14 before!) but we are all great resources @Graysin probably has read everything I have posted and is on much more frequently than I am.
Also I know she will tag me if she is unsure or we have a tricky one… Because if we don’t know something for sure we definitely want to find out the answer or the method t so we can all learn from it.

Hmm… the ones getting some shade, they still finished flower right?
I can’t decide if I’d be better off if it flowered early or not… and No telling if we’ll get our monsoons in July or later haha. Guess it might be best if it waited, would hate to get caught in monsoons late flower

You’ll be in a tricky situation perhaps - if it’s flowering now, it’ll take 3-6 weeks for her to change her mind and go back to vegging. Which might be just in time for the mid-summer monsoons (assuming the rain we’re seeing right now isn’t the end of it, anyhow). Cody’s suggestion is a good one - perhaps with all your newfound space you have room to bring the greenhouse gals into the grow room? (I hesitate to suggest because bugs like to come inside when that happens, but it isn’t a bad thought)

Oh god that stuff is over my head
So using the photon app and getting the DLI number, I don’t need to do that stuff before it with converting lux and stuff right? I just go by the DLI reading?
I was thinking there was some complex thing doing math with the DLI number and hours of light etc

That was my worry, bringing aphids and stuff in… but if I got caught flowering in bad weather I would. Hopefully it’s just pre flowers and not starting to flower

Yes bit only because they stayed consistently shaded, im sure if they had been moved they would have gone into reveg.

Aaah okay, in that case I bet mine are either just plain growing preflowers, or if they did start I bet they’ll get back to vegging. I mean we’ve had some cloudy days, but the greenhouse gets sun basically sunrise to sunset, and even though it’s “filtered” through clear polycarbonate, it’s intense sun, like 1300-1400ppfd most days
