SO! I have a “friend” and his name is Manny, and he wants to know whats the latest you can stop giving nutes to harvest. There seems to be some amber trichomes starting that literally just started on his grow earlier today and lets just say that he didn’t really notice until right after he fed. SO the big questions are, what the latest you’ve given nutes before harvest? Any tips on maybe not getting a chemical taste? Would a flush do anything to help? What about splitting the stem how do you feel about that? Should Manny not do anything? Is it too late once the amber is already there? Will he ever find out? Find out next time on an episode of “He (I) Might Have F***ed Up Again”
On another note how do you guys feel about humidity packs I’m looking on amazon right now and trying to decide between the 62 and 58% Would it really make a difference? Also what would be the difference in grams because theres a 4 g and an 8G option but the 8 doesn’t come for a week even with prime but the 4 comes the standard Prime time.
Thoughts…? No? Just gonna ignore me and my cry for help? ALRIGHTY THEN! lol jokes jokes but really though thank you for the help in advance I appreciate everyone. Just trying to give you guys a good laugh at my pain lol
Funny post @Manny_FTGUTube… As far as the boveda packs, I just picked up the 62%… Seems like that’s where the cures cannabis needs to be when drys and in mason jars … If your trikes just started turning then I would think you could go another 2 weeks, no more nutes, just water etc but wait for others to chime in… You should be ok IMHO
I just picked up the 62% as well might as well right. What size are the ones that you are using? I doubt that anyone else is gonna really chime in other than maybe the guys I tagged haha that’s how it usually goes lol I appreciate the input though bud!
Haha don’t know bro I’m on here pretty often though, as much as I can be reading all that I can haha. I appreciate that I can make you laugh a little. Thanks my man appreciate it.
I’d love to help you out but I never saw anything but pictures of trichomes until my WW autos started flowering week before last. I would think you might have at least another week if they are just now starting to turn amber but again, I don’t know how fast they switch over but if you just use water from here on out I would think most of the chem taste would be gone within a week of just water. I like the idea of stem splitting, no harvest yet but I plan on trying it on at least one of my plants. Good luck Manny! Every time I see your name I think of Two and a Half Men when crazy stalker lady had a mannequin hubby named Manny she was making Charlie jealous with
Haha that’s funny lol just give it about another month and you are gonna be looking at some beautiful trichs! I’ve heard about letting the plant dry out as well but I’m so nervous since this is my first grow haha. I’ll definitely have to keep my eyes on the trichs the next few days so that I can see how fast they’re getting their amber. Idk if I want to do the stem splitting but I figure it can’t really hurt anything right? I mean what’s it gonna do kill the plant? LMAO. Haha I’ve never wat he that show but now I’m going to have to check that out to see that lmao!
I would see what Boveda says, both are listed for “herbal medicine” rather than coffee or tobacco. Those 58% packs are there for a reason. If I had to guess, the 58% might be better at the beginning of the cure when your flowers are most likely above 62%, and it might help prevent mold at the beginning by being a bit dryer, just a guess though.
That’s actually pretty logical I didn’t even think of it that way, I already picked up the 62 but honestly it can’t hurt to pick up the 58s as well cause why not right?
Also, I store all my flowers with the 62%, but the vape I use works better with dryer stuff, so that might be another reason. I might give the 58% a shot and see, like they recommend. Logically though, if your stuff is stored in an airtight container it shouldn’t make a difference if you live in the desert or a swamp.
Interesting little article but since I live in a drier climate they said the 62 would probably be best so I think I might have made the right decision already, but still gonna pick up the others
If you have enough to experiment, (or if I end up with enough) I don’t think either would hurt the flowers. Have one with 58 the whole time, 62 the whole time, and one with 58 for a week or two then bump it up. I have three flowers in mind to try this on in about 27-35 days
Haha thank you I appreciate it lol I like to try and be funny from time to time. Well that’s what we’re all here for though and that’s to learn from each other and help each other out. I just wish I knew more.
