I have a few buds on my plant that look a little weird to me. The stigmas appear to be recessed on some of the bud sites. I was thinking possible light burn but some of them are in the bottom and not directly in the light. Most of the bud sites look completely normal.

It looks like trichs are growing like crazy on the pistils and everything and only looks to be about a couple weeks in flower

Week 4 of flower started this past Friday. Ive never seen the stigmas recessed like that. Everything else seems to be fine with the plant overall. I guess I’ll just keep an eye on it and see what develops over the next week or so.

Is it possible they could have gotten pollenated?
Normally when ur pistils recede and start to brown prematurely, its a case of pollenization (i spelled that ALL WRONG) or possibly temps a bit out of range. Has it been too hot or dry lately?

I originally was thinking pollination but it’s in a tent with all females (I have checked them thoroughly for signs of herm/pollen sacks). As far as temps/RH they are both pretty stable where they usually are and out of the ordinary.

Hmm then beats me. Id keep checking for hidden male parts.

Same here. I’m going to go in there when I get off work and do a thorough look. I might add a few pics once I get a chance to do that.

Pollen can enter a grow tent. Someone nearby may have a full on male. Just keep checking daily if not more

Just did a thorough check this morning and didn’t see anything. Here’s another picture.

Could also be a byproduct of roughhandling said buds.
The way its only the pistils under the tops? That is another possible pollenated by itself sign. But if you see no sacs, we can probably check that off the list.
Is it in a spot you frequently handle?

I try not to touch them at all if I can help it. I might try to cut one off and open it up to look at it closer. Anything else that I should try to do or look for?

Start right above the infected bud and inspect close to the stalk as possible. Sometimes its a pollen sac hidden on the stem. Others its bananas hidden in the buds.
