MegaCrop 1 part nutes at 850EC @ 5.8 pH… Happy Bird Seeds Shamanade and Mothership autos and Gas Burzst and Nuclear Scary Bubbles photos by Nukeheads all Fems… Pictures were taken 1 week apart. Also have a few of my own that I’m Germ testing and generally just growing in an organic mix I’ve concocted as a little test. Lotta castings(bat and worm) as well as a little Gaia Green amendments, same basic ratio as Mr Canucks recipe…

Welcome to the community!

Very cool setup!

Good luck!

Appreciate the welcome. This is how I like to start my DWC seedlings… Easy to control the parameters and see what they can take early on.

I need help bro i am COMPLETELY NEW TO THIS!!! I dont know how to post only reply sorry for jumping in on other discussion. I just purchased a dwc kit lights snd outdoor green house. I went to mix my solution and it said 2ml per gallon of each and my water ppm came to 123ppm but i keep reading online it should be between 400ppm to 600ppm by 3rd to 4th week. So my question is do i just keep adding till i hit that range? Just even doses of each chem?? Pls help i never grew anything in my life and i dont want these bad boys to die on me.

Welcome to the addiction of growing my man… Not sure what line of nutrients you’re running, or what you’re growing, but to keep things simple, let’s start with a list of what you need…

  1. pH Pen… I like the Apera myself
  2. Conductivity meter… I I use a bluelab truncheon
  3. The DWC system… Bucket, net pot, grodan, air pump and tubing
  4. Tent, light, inlet and exhaust fan.

Hydroponics are high maintenance systems that need to be monitored daily and cleaned regularly to ensure the health of the grow. I like to start my seeds in grodan cubes and when the tap root emerges through the bottom I fill a net pot with a nice layer of rinsed clay pebbles then sit it in the net pot, finally backfilling the cube and seedling with more clay pebbles. Mixing nutrients is simple, but it can’t be rushed. Take your time, it’s better to measure everything and mix thoroughly to ensure you don’t over or underfeed them. PPM is the concentration of nutrients in the solution. I prefer to use EC when mixing mine, but to make it simple, find a clean 1 quart container, like a pitcher, and mix a sample sized to get comfortable with the process. That’ll get you used to the process. My concern is you mentioned outside tent. Hydroponic solutions need to be kept cool, nothing like hot water to grow in so be mindful of where you set up. There’s a lot more learning curve to it but the biggest thing is keeps my it simple, following the directions and making sure the parameters, especially pH(5.8 is the sweet spot), stays in range. Can’t wait to see how you take off with this. Good luck.
