Daytime has been a bit tight for me, thanks for taking care of this!
27 days of 12/12. This awkward girl is filling out. Drinking less often but ive probably been a little high on humidity(and other things) and busy with work and family. No concerns other than some very slight cal-mag deficiency on old, lower leaves, and i know its because im really trying to push the light intensity to make up for a slow veg. She’s gonna produce though.
@Budbrother what do you think my next move should be? Im growing in soil using jacks nutes. my last run off numbers were 6.3 ph and 1000 ppm. Is it lack of mg or is the K blocking it out? I was thinking next water going in heavy with epsom somewhere around 500 ppm. I do not have bottled cal-mag on hand unfortunately, ive just been using epsom and a small amount of part B jacks on non-feed days.
It’s showing Ca- signs. That’s about all the help I’ve got for you. I don’t know salts enough to help further. @Growdoc @low could help more here.
Judging by the numbers and looks, I’d say mag deficiency also. I don’t think your locked out, I would give her a teaspoon of Epsom in a gallon of water, ph it at 6.5 , and give it next watering when they are light. Cal mag would be even better, as Epsom is only going to feed the magnesium deficiency, calcium deficiency usually runs along with magnesium, and it takes a few weeks to actually show up.You could also adopt a feed, water , feed, water routine, find a balance. Some feed, water, water, feed. You’ll have to find the sweet spot, it’ll come to you!![]()
I don’t see any Mg just Ca but calmag covers both.
If you zoom in you’ll see the light between the veins along with the Calcium. They often run hand in hand for some reason.![]()
I’m sorry Doc, I don’t see Mg which is the most common misdiagnosis for Ca. Yellowing between veins covers a broad spectrum of symptoms, so you also must consider location. Ca affects uppers and Mg lowers. This plus the splotching pattern indicate that the early yellowing sign is a drain of Ca, for me. Ether way you or I see it, calmag is the solution.
As long as we find a solution, all good!
This is how mine (not exactly) look . When I had cal deficiency, they had brown specs on some leaves, with mag, I just had light colors between the veins. Shouldn’t be different between living soil and soilless, but I’m just going from my experience. I definitely wouldn’t dispute you in soil, you have a gift there, and I appreciate you watchin my back on it! And thanks for the tip on location, that will come in handy!
Today marks the start of week 7 of flower. This girl is bulking up and the late flower fade just started to begin. I’ll start checking trichs next weekend and probably raise my light a little bit before then. The wait is almost over. Hope everyone has a good weekend, sunny and 65 is what they are calling for today in north central MN…maybe ill get the greenhouse set up outside as we’ll be starting veggies soon.
Nice, nice burnt tips and all.

. Might have let the ppm’s run on the high end for a cycle
Looks perfect! Zone of proximal development.
