Thank you very much for the clarification. I’m writing that down as we speak. I’m glad you caught that but no worries because I’m a ways away from starting anyway and I’m sure I’ll reread all of this again plus my notes before I start my next seeds. ![]()
I’ve been using clones from a local dispensary since I started growing, more or less. A little bit of seed experience but now that I’ve ordered some seeds from ilgm I’m going to need to get real good at my seed germinating so I don’t waste these healthy, beautiful, ilgm seeds. I would like all 5 of them to pop without problems… Wouldn’t we all tho? Haha
thanks for the help and advice ,buddy appreciate it ( everyone else too!)
I use a mix of 80℅ Happy Frog, 20℅ Light Warrior… I also use 1 TBL Dolomite Lime and 1 TBL Ayzomite Ash ( per 1 gal soil)
I start in Nursery pint cups… to 3 gal felt pots…
I use the same mixture from seedlings to Flw…
Hope this helps… ![]()

Yes it sure does. I think I’m getting a lot of great ideas I might even do a couple of them one way and a couple another? I’ll let you guys know once I start to germinate and which way I’ll go with it. Thanks again for the help
@Dragon269, what’s in the Light Warrior.
Here is what I found from Google. Like I said I may do about two or three in Light Warrior and then 2 to 03 in Ocean Forest Happy Frog mix. This Light Warrior does sound interesting and it’s made by the same people and products I use. Anyway here’s what I found_
Enhance root growth and encourage greater nutrient uptake by plants with FoxFarm Light Warrior soil. … it’s packed with beneficial microbes (mycorrhizae) to stimulate root growth, humic acid to promote seed germination and earthworm castings to help plants thrive.
Oh sorry I didn’t notice you tagged the other guy and asked him specifically. My bad buddy. I am listening though and curious about Light Warrior
@neckNflu, no, that’s quite alright dude. I’m trying to get my arms around the different soils and their ingredients. How is my Happy Frog different from your FF Ocean Forrest? The Happy Frog has Mycorrhizae and Humic Acid just like the Light Warrior. I’ve emailed the Happy Frog folks requesting a breakdown of their product. Hope they send a nice graph like Fox Farm.
Bear with me as this is the first time I’ve ever uploaded anything. But here’s a picture of each bag I hope you can zoom in on them. I heard you could at least? Once again sorry if this is a dumpster fire.
I’m going to mix each of them one bag to one bag which roughly works out to 57% Happy Frog and 43% ocean Forest. Now I just got decide if I might pull the trigger on some light Warrior and do a compare and contrast.
I took a picture of each bag but I can’t seem to upload it… I’m going to fiddle and see if I can figure this out.
PS I had a feeling this would be a dumpster fire. I’m not very tech-savvy
@neckNflu. Thanks for all the help.
Hey it worked! Haha now hopefully you can read it…lol
Yep. Thanks
No problem. That’s what we’re all here for. That’s what drew me to this website. I’m happy I’m finally starting to be able to help other people a little bit. Start to pay back a little to the website I feel like I’ve taken a lot of knowledge. Haha
No problem at all.
@neckNflu, Can you clear up the view. It’s a bit fuzzy.
That’s much better.
@neckNflu… You’re doin great amigo. I got it
Excellent. I wish it was something easier for taking pictures as there is for my voice chat to text function I’m using right now as we speak. Haha I hope this helps you. I don’t know a ton about the soil besides I’ve pretty much used it all the time except for I’ve tried Coco Loco and I believe it’s called Roots organic? Or Organic Roots? But yeah I like both of these products mixed together personally. Happy Frog was the first thing I ever used and that’s honestly just fine by itself
it’s been quite a while since I’ve done a lot of growing with seeds so I thought I needed some advice. And thank you to everyone for your advice. I got a lot of great things to read and I learned some stuff along the way. Appreciated everyone.
