I’m looking for a better rooting hormone than the one I have been using I bought it at walmart so I’m sure theres a better one out there don’t get me wrong it works I just want one that works better

Looking at whats out there seems its all iba. Gels and powders.
The clonex is 3x the concentration but 6x the price. On my searches anyway. Both are iba. The best would be whats best for you.

I simply dip ends in raw honey, I’ve had better luck with it than hormones.

A fellow grower said they use slices of the aloe plant pop your cut end in it and put it right in the dirt said they get 100% every time

I’ve used aloe, it works as well. I don’t see me changing ways as what I’ve been doing lately just works. I clone in coco now with 50% perlite, put in a cup a bit shorter than a solo, fill with coco and perlite. Run a pint or so of water with 150ppm cal mag and 150 ppm of Jacks 321 through and allow to runoff until drained and not dripping. Cut clone at a 45 degree angle through or just below a node, then lightly scrape through the skin of the stalk for 1/2 to 3/4 in above node, dip end in honey, aloe, or cloned and stick into coco about 1/2 inch from bottoming out. Put under a dome and you will have roots in a week or a bit more. Shouldn’t need to water for a week, just mist inside of dome once or twice a day to keep humidity around 80.
