Hey guys , im freaking out a bit , had a ciuple of windy days and today i had a house inspection and the guy showed up and i ran out the back and quickly put the greenhouse over the plant to hide them anyway i uncovered them and was checkimg them over all good i went inside and like 10 mins later i looked out window and a branch was all wilted and it had broken sideways and split off the main stem but was still hed the by bark/skin but ut had peeled an inch up amd down ive taped it back in place with honey . Its still wilted how long should it take to recover if its going to

Anyone saved a near-severed branch this late in flower? Its literally hanging by the skin taped tight with honey but zero signs of life yet. Give it 24 h or should I just cut my losses and chop it off now?

3-7 days. Now that it’s taped up and has honey on it, it still takes a bit for it to heal and repair. If no signs of improvement in 7-10 days, you may as well take it off. I’ve had several main branches break because of bud height and weight. They usually recover if you jump right on it like you did. Good luck, keep us posted.

If that branch survives it’ll probably put out the prettiest buds on the whole plant.

Thanks mate for the reply , yeah I was kinda thinking its not gonna happen over night if its gonna happen. The shade leaves are slowly going crunchy so ive removed them but the remaining main leaves are still ok just wilted I got to within an hr of it breaking so im hoping it comes back. I had just gotten a nice kinda ball and had the canopy completely even filled and now ive got massive gap on one side. So disappointed

Yeah I hope so. Its still completely wilted though and the shades have started to dry and go crunchy. The main leaves appear to be ok just wilted. . So I hope i will come good. I had a blood mad ball going with a solid full canopy now ive got huge hole like it got raped by big foot.

I used cloning gel, wire ties and a small bungee cord to pull mine back into place. But I did it instantly. Not sure when it is as far gone as yours was. Good luck!

the wound needs to be wrapped and sealed from air getting to it. wrap that branch and main stem a few inches in each direction like I did in the picture I posted. If air gets to it, it can dry it out.

Thats the branch pretty much exactly the same as yours dan. Except mine broke but it peeled the bark off an inch up and down but didnt break the bark it was holding it I put some raw honey then used medicore paperlike tape then electrical tape over the top. I got it back on within an hr of it breaking maybe less . Thats if it broke when I think it did it wilted within 10 to 15 mins. So ill just leave and hope it comes back to life in next week or so.

Just an update im pretty sure ive save it the branches are slowly starting to pull themselves back up to being level with the rest of the branch. Im just a bit worried cause i pinched off all the shade leaves from that branch casue they had gone all crunchy. Have to see how much it all regrows i guess

She died kinda come back grren but the smaller branches all died off and went grey black
