@so I’m just wondering why she is dropping again, I’ve been watering extremely sparingly already did one emergency transplant, she started to do a lot better. But now she looks sad again any ideas why?
Still looks extremely wet. Do you have a fan blowing on it?
Yes I do should I shut off the humidifier and let it dry more??
Yeah I would. I did this to myself overwatering seedlings when I first started coco. To water them now I just use a spray bottle. Literally spraying in the dirt in a ring around the cup… The solo cups take forever to dry out if she isn’t thirsty.
@Dell5001 I agree with @Noctis420 she looks wet. I assume you have holes in the cups. I would let it dry a touch bring the humidity way up after the soil drys a bit anyway. Them babies like the wet air while the roots are growing. Humidity level by your hydrometer look more like veg/flower RH. Just my two pennies and my pennies aren’t worth much yet. There should be some others with much more wisdom by here shortly. The hardest part when their babies is to not hover too much. Oh and what medium is she in. Soil, coco, etc. Peace brother
I’m also in line with the slight overwatering that others have been saying. Its been awhile since I’ve been doing seeds (looking forward to dropping a few this spring) I grow clones mostly. But I’ve found that letting them dry out as much as possible before watering again is the best thing. Its really hard to hold off on watering them but I’ve turned to just giving my lil girls a small circle of water around the stems while they are rooting. I’ve also found that the girls are a bit more resilient than people think so I tend to keep my girls a bit longer kinda playing plant dr. to them and waiting to see if they will come back. Best of luck. However, I grow my clones in 1 gal fabric pots and in soil so there could be significant differences between how our plants grow so yea. I just figured like others I’d throw my idea out there and encourage that she’ll probably come back with care. Happy growin
what i was thinking was a couple of day before planting would be to water the cups ,let them drain prior to planting ,let any excess water out ,then maintain the weight by adding water as the weight drops ,back up to the original weight ,i might be wrong ,what do you think ?
Hey fellow growers, This time I’ve been weighing my solo cups. Weighed a dry one and it was 168 grams. So I’ve been adding water on the saucers and letting it wick up into the soil and have been keeping them at about 200 grams when watered, will keep ya all posted as to how it goes
