Small sprouts stunted growth?

Beginner grower, I successfully grew (indoors) a batch of WWF and it came out awesome! I surprised myself!
Now, growing the last of the WWF seeds.
My seedlings came thru fine, they are under LED lights, a few inches. They started to grow and then just stopped. No movement in over a week? Water seems to be fine, same dirt, no nutrients yet…looks like there may be tiny brown starting on the tips of leaves, but very small. Everything I’m doing is the same as the first time, I am baffled…
Any suggestions???

pots look dry…what is the RH?..at this stage you should probably still be misting the plants a couple times a day

Yes, they do look a tad dry today, haven’t watered yet this am. I’ll give them some moisture now. Otherwise look ok? Should I just leave em alone for now?
It just seems as though they were very different the last grow…
Thanks so much for the reply!

I think you need to transplant them or add more soil the soil looks kinda shallow to me
Also when they are sprouts they will focus on root development more then up wars growth they need to build a solid support system to work off of
I don’t see you mention that they are Auto so I’ll assume they are photo seeds
I would transplant into 1-3 gal pots
I start mine in solo cups them transfer in 5 gal pots when they are ready
Happy growing @Lolo

How powerful is you LED light? A few inches away might be too close for the light which could be causing you problems.
I don’t use LEDs myself I use an MH /HPS. I start out with a T5 for my seedlings.
Just a thought.
I notice your peat pots look like they were burnt at some point?
Also they do look pretty dry in those pics. Definitely don’t want to overwater but also don’t want them wet. Just moist. As @Oak stated misting them with a spray bottle is the best approach.

@Jmesser80 makes a good point if it’s a 300 watt light or better it should be at around 36 inches to start off with sprouts and seedlings and brought closer when they start to stretch for the light :+1: Good call @Jmesser80

Using G8LED. Yes, i’m thinking they are getting burnt from the light, to close. I’m going to back them off the light today in replant them in something a bit bigger. How far or close do you think they should be on the lights at this stage? Hopefully it helps! Thanks so much for your insight :v:t2:

I think you guys are spot on! I’m really thinking it’s a light issue because everything else is the same… Going to make some changes today and cross my fingers thanks again keep them coming :v:t2::seedling:

Nice @Lolo :+1: Definitely want to be around 30-36 inches imo
They don’t need a lot of light just yet
Start high you can always lower it if need with out damage even if plants streach to much you can always bury the stem
By being to close you can burn them from the intensity of the light not heat

I agree with @Countryboyjvd1971 30" - 36" away is a good start. If you start to see them stretching you can lower it down little by little as the get bigger.

Always happy to help👍

I’ve dropped them way down and moistened them up. Hopefully I see some changes with those adjustments. Thanks so much :v:t3: Wisdom is always welcome
