@1HappyPappy I seen you like bottom watering and can you help, I want to discourage pests, and make sure I wet the bottom without overwatering the whole thing. The little one in my starting container, about 1qt container.
Should I be concerned with the depth of water I use. Or just remove it soon as I see it stopped dropping. If I mix the volume I would top-feed, it doesnt all get sucked up.
still growing other things. gonna try to raise a mother ground cherry (physalis) to clone and be ready for spring.

@Jaysittinback the wife and I are enjoying all your pictures. We did our first outdoor vegi garden last season and have winter strong vegetables going now. Its been years and years since we have grown a garden hah!
Thanks very much @Shadesfang
It’ll be nice when I can get good at it and harvest a full serving of veggies. Looks like this winter will just be learning and practice for me
You keep practing on the veggies under the light. Mama and i will be asking for indoor veggie journal.
Broccoli are now outperforming my outdoors. Squash hasn’t made any 1-foot leaves yet, looks like flowering too young.
Those vivosun meters are actually fairly accurate. Just make sure you keep the ph pen calibrated and in storage solution. I put a piece of a sponge in the cap of mine and seems to work well enough. I have some calibration liquid that I use to check it before each use. I have been calibrating them about every 8-10 uses. It’s never been off by more than 0.5, that can still cause and/or hide issues. Those things are priceless when it comes to feeding and watering. Helps tremendously!
