They look very nice, and adding ones own touch inside the tent,
Thanks, I’d like to fill it up, at least 9 anyway. Symmetry!
I grew one good auto, a Gelato. It was awesome, then I failed on eight in a row. I’ll be interested in what strain you go with auto.
Just now I figured out what meant by 1x1; I got a variety of 2x2s here which mostly are 1.5x1.5 and some even thinner, scraps from the sawmill I bring home to build garden trellis and other things. I wouldve liked all the same. Oh well free lumber… if a 8’ board is bad on one end I keep seven good feet. As much as I can carry in a sedan anyway
Finished 3 banana kush autos 2 sr8 cocos and one bought 5 gal p4p superb soil, water only.
All 3 hit 4 foot with hlg 300L, with light dialed back for first run ever.
P4p, 3 oz dried and in grove bag, 2 cocos, first reported 4-5 ozs each after 7 days hanging. 3.5 on one, the other is about 4. We had 27 gram main cola now at 21 grams. Last plant, only harvested upper 2/3, left the bottom larf to grow.
About 10.5 from 3 plants and we did nothing special other than watch and pray. Did not ever have runoff when watering, always dialed lights back, and up a couple of inches more, nutes at 2/3 or close, shaved the 321 recipe to exactly 321 vice 3.6. 2.4. 1.2.
One thing i havent ever heard on here yet. P4p gives you soap and neets oil to spray with.
Spraying when lights on can lead to burns on the leafs. The light acts like a magnifying lense against the water spots on leafs.
That’s funny I’m always raising lights and trying not to overheat my plants while my buddy here is always trying to get me to put them really close. I prefer too far over too close. I also don’t runoff, partly because I don’t want to be catching it. Banana kush does it smoke good as it sounds, like a desert. If I could avg 3+ oz from a plant that would be great, then I know I could get a half pound out of a tent. Not yet
This plant was a joy coming home to. The fragrance in early stages, so fruity, pleasant smelling. Long story shorter. 30 days into flower, we have been dry for 56 days and sampled on one.
That sample was dried on top of the light for 24 hrs.
Was smooth then as it is now, and got us high. The high has gotten much better as the plants matured.
Originally sold as 27% thc, now listed at 21%. after taste on exhale, always mellow and smooth, sometimes the flavor of a ripe .
I am sure that after we learn a few things, dial it in tighter, it can only get better.
Lots of veterans who have grown this strain, mention . @pr had some test above 30%. @Hellraiser mentioned his banana kush early sampling, he said he was adding banana kush to his mother plant collections as the strain was a keeper.
Next run, new years eve, we drop a wedding cake and runtz for the start.
21% = just right IMO ah but a treat is nice, sometimes to catch a case of the chuckles with some friends or screw the head right up forget what doing
Havent sampled #3 yet, 3.5 ozs 10 days dry,
now in grove bag. Lots of larf to trim still, they are frosting and foxtailing.
Mama said test run New Years eve.
Grove bag #1 smells like overly ripe . Very nice
Now on my to-grow list. Banana Kush, Zkittles, Runtz, Afghan and I forget the other ones but that’s enough to start
Hey @dbrn32 this sprout 4 days from wetting and around 3/8 long, I want to put in soil root up husk down. The root is curling toward the sprout end so already going towards what will be downwards. Should that stop me or should carry on as planned? Anything specific about positioning the seed I should know?
BTW I tried this a while back when mentioned, that time was a good run of bad luck germinating anything. Nothing worked that month.
No matter how it looks root abd husk will right itself. The only thing i have to add is to preach cleanliness. If you’re handling use sterile gloves/ tweezers. Not sure what happened or why you had problems in the past, but I’ve had zero helmets since doing this. I picked it up from Brothers Grimm and has been money since.
Right on. Thanks again! I let it fall in a hole around 12mm deep however it landed it went anyway thinking might be too picky. Between noon and 3pm today it appeared above soil
Gone back to bagged ‘starting mix’ had to pull the direct sown seedling as it stopped growing and stem turned red (wet ‘hot’ soil?). Got it in starting mix without hurting the roots. In two short days it thanked me by starting it’s third node, after being idle for a week.
The other took off so I transplanted it at 2wk old, yesterday.
Broccoli growing again.
