SkinnerBack's journal, "i got 2 thumbs hopefully 1 is green"

I plugged the 1st panel in and board 1 and 4 lite, board 2 and 3 did not. I knew it, I would f it up some how.

That’s what I did and the 2 middle boards aren’t lighting up

I would go back and check the connections/connectors on the boards. If all is well I would swap them around just to make sure

I guess Ill plug the other 5 panels in and see what they do. And rewire the 1st panel. Thanks

Sounds like you have input and output backwards. input should be power cord and output to boards.

Edit nevermind lol. I see the white is what you used to make your connections

I used white for the positive of the driver and then black for the neg going to the driver

What is model number of driver you have? Also, did you double check that you have wire stripped properly for molex connectors? I have done/seen them not stripped enough and the wite insulation be under contacts in connectors.

That’s the right one. I see you have others working. Double check how wires are sitting those connectors on boards.

I’m going to rewrie it. But if it didn’t have a connection it shouldn’t be getting voltage to next board?

The electronics in the drivers are funky. Wouldn’t be first time I’ve seen something like that, especially with the two boards you have driver connections to.

Especially with how tight your jumpers look. Leave wires a little longer so you can be sure that you have a connection.

I’m going to have me a modelo with big splash of ojo rojo

Can I isolate the boards and only hook up 1 board to the driver. @dbrn32

Thanks guys
@dbrn32 and @imSICKkid I rewired the light and all 4 work. Now if I can do a diy light there should be nobody buying blurple lights. With the help of a few guys on this forum I was able to do it. I feel like i climbed a mountain Thanks guys

Had the light on high and my temps sky rocketed. Exhaust fan kicked on 10 and took all my humidity out.
Turned to low and it’s holding steady at 77.

With lights in the tent I can’t stand up no more. Need a 10’ tall tent

Ideally you will want to run your canopy temps in low 80’s with that light. Glad you got them working.
