Single Cotyledon Seedling Photo

Indoor, under lights, soil planting, strain is “Bubblegum

some of the other seeds were normal
planning to replace this plant with one of the other seeds that germinated

Looks healthy I’d keep it and see what it does.

Thanks, I agree but I have a limited number of plants allowed here in Virginia and a limited amount of space under my lamps.

It has been several days in this same condition.
Tried to separate the leaves but no luck.
I’ll give a little more time…

So it is a double that are stuck together. Thats diferent. Start a new one.

I would allow it to grow.

I have seen those a fair bit when I have sprouted under ripened seeds. They look good and the same color even, just a little less swollen or flattish. Often (but not always) whitish or light grey seeds. Some seeds are just grayish and never get green or tiger stripes; so it’s relative to the whole batch of seeds. I usually just pluck these seeds and feed them to the birds. It’s easy to see how one could slip in. It’s very hard to tell sometimes. My hobby is making seeds in the winter time and I always do big pheno hunts.

The seed germinates and has a tap root just fine. But as the cotyledons roll out it is like half is missing and the middle seems hollow. Like an early FIM. Or exactly like your photo there.

Unfortunately, I have given them entire outdoor seasons and I have never had one of those advance into a plant. They usually hold on for a few months and then brown up, dry out, and wither. Not telling you what to do, just reporting on what I have found to be the case. Give it a go and prove me wrong, I would not judge at all.

Thanks @noddykitty1 , I ended up replacing the subject plant and I will inspect future seeds for signs of being unripe. I found three good looking seeds and they sprouted and grew well with the exception of one that looks like it may be defective, not growing like the others.
