Hey guys. So dumb question. At what point do you consider a seedling entering into the veg period?

I have 2 plants who are 2 weeks old tomorrow (from seed dropped into water) They have 2 sets of leaves and the beginnings of the 3rd set. I can see separation (segmentation on the leaves) in the 2nd set…

Typically Veg is considered started when there are 4-5 true sets of leaves.

If you need to transplant. Should do so between now and another week. Veg will come up fast.

Thanks @bruinsfan33, yeah they are in 4-inch pots now and no sign of roots through the holes yet, should I transplant anyway before Veg starts? TIA
