Side illumination set up

Hello guys I recently bought a 4x4 tent and a 300w led lamp but I got this crazy idea for side illumination and I would like to see what you think about it. I’m thinking about getting a power outlet strip with digital timer, some light bulb sockets with power outlet to light bulb socket plugs and some full spectrum led bulbs. I’ll attach a few screenshots so you can see what I’m talking about. Thank you!

Couldn’t hurt side light are a good idea

I agree with @Countryboyjvd1971 and it’s not hurting to have side lights and stay in a healty range, distance of the plant and not steer from the under side :wink::innocent::v:

I’ll say, I think the lights would be better off above the plants. Side is okay if it’s angled downward but still hitting tops. Plants process light thru the tops of leaves, not the bottom.

My opinion split the light difference, stronger lights on top, weaker on sides, allows all buds to fill out evenly not just the tops, even light distribution = higher yield overall

Here’s some side lights I picked up but don’t have room right now. When I get the grow room up and running I’ll try using them then. There flexible and very bright
