Should I wait to fert

Hello, i have 4 wedding cake about 2 inches tall, feminized photo, in coast of Maine seed mix. I will be transplanting when the time comes into 5 gallon fabric pots with promix hp with mycorrhizae ( i believe there is no fertin this ). My question is this, i will for the first time ever be using jacks 321 ( nervous and excited) do i begin with this regimen after i transplant or do i start with jacks while still in solo cups?

The coast of Maine is amended and will feed for approximately 6 weeks in a larger vessel, it’ll carry that seedling until transplant with no issues. I would mix the jacks at full strength drench the ProMix and transplant. Treat the ProMix like coco for PH :love_you_gesture:

Thanks, I’ve never used coco so what ph?

I believe you would treat it like hydro so 5.8 to 6.2 but could be wrong.

I fill a quart jar 2/3 with water, weigh and add part A and shake til dissolved, weigh and add epsom and shake, add weigh and add part B and shake til dissolved. Add to appropriate amount of water and stir. Adjust ph if needed and feed them to 30% runoff in Promix.

You wouldn’t happen to know how long a gallon mix of the 321 will keep in a cool dark spot, for instance would I be able to use it again 2 or 3 days later or best to mix a smaller batch each time ?

I have been told it’s best to ph water before adding nutes. But the first time is a learning curve. You may have to adjust you numbers up or down. :v::call_me_hand:

I will have to research that a bit more just to be on the safe side, thanks for your input, here they are so far, 9 days in solo cups 18 hrs light 6 hrs dark lower to mid seventies temperature and lower to mid sixties humidity would like humidity higher but thats with humidifier in tent

Also if you add cal mag or silica do it before you add your other nutes. :v::call_me_hand:

I don’t, I always mix fresh. You can put a clear solo upside down for a humidity dome, just take it off when leaves spread out and touch sides of cup.

Cal mag add anytime, silica add last.

Always ph last thing. Any thing you add after phing will likely change it.

With jacks 321 i believe the part b covers the calcium part and the epsom covers the magnesium needed
