I used happy frog soil last year and I still have the soil saved from last year. Should I go out and buy all new happy frog or should I reuse the old soil again?
You can reuse just recharge it. Nothing wrong with reusing soil
Absolutely you can reuse. My grow right now is half new maybe a little more than the rest reused. Fox farm Happy frog ocean Forest 50/50 with about 20% cultivation Nation.
I know after this grow my next grow I am going to use I believe kind of new stuff Happy frog reconditioning soil. It is made just for that purpose to revigorate your soil. Here’s a picture of my grow of reuse soil and new soil was at least a year old sitting in a nice cool place never dried out in the original bag never opened.
So once again yes reusing is cost efficient and I can’t wait to try that Happy frog reconditioning cuz soon I want to start growing like I was
This is before and after my Edward scissorhands got a hold of them this weekend
Definitely use it again. Ramp it up with organic worm castings, blood and bone, organic compost, horticultural charcoal, and a few handfulls of dynamic lifter.
I even chuck in a few handfulls of composting worms to keep it live.
Get the microbes into the soil by adding a capful of Swiftgrow to 6 litres of water, Charlie Carp ( fish hydrolysates ) 10ml per litre of water, and 3 capfuls of Blackstrap molasses ( add 4 tablespoons to hot water and dissolve - store in a 4 litre bottle ). The microbes feed on this and activate by the millions. Essential for rejuvenating the soil. My Gorillas go off like a rocket on it. Good luck my friend and happy growing.
