Should I be trimming on my auto

I’ve heard a lot of different opinions regarding trimming. What are your thoughts on trimming autoflowers? I’m 4 1/2 weeks into my first grow. Everything is doing very well but I feel the top canopy is blocking light even when I do LST. Should I be trimming anything to help get light to the bottom bud sites? I’ve tried tucking leaves but I have broken a few and had to remove them. Not a fan. Thanks for any input

I think your plants look great. MO you don’t have any bud sites yet and the leafs are important to the plant development. So until you go into flower and need to give bud sites light I wouldn’t worry about removing any leafs. But being new to growing I will tag a couple people who know way more than I do. @oldmarine @MeEasy

Thanks @Flitme for the tag… hi @Googan6 I try hard not to remove any leaves until I hit flower but sometimes it is necessary, I do a tuck thing I try to tuck the upper leaves under the branches that are under them to give the growth tip as much light as I can it doesn’t last to long because the leaf wants the light but by tucking it at least the branches get some light everyday and eventually it will grow out from under the leaf

I grew autos outdoors earlier this year. I didn’t really need to do any trimming until they started budding, but I did have to tuck constantly and then keep up with lst and more trimming throughout the rest of the grow. Idk if that helps you any, but good luck with your girls.:potted_plant::dash:

I find many don’t have their own personal experience to back up what they say.
They just parrot what they have heard other growers say.
I’m a hardhead and often have to try things for myself to find out what the real deal is.

Trimming? I’m trying mainlining/manifolding a Jack Herer Auto right now.
Check it out here.

I did my traditional aggressive pruning/training on my 1st White Widow Auto and got far better yields for it!
