Shelf life for dry nutrients?

I’ve been using Lotus Nutrients for little over a year now. Does anyone know if dry nutrients go bad or loose potency after a while ? The Lotus web site says that the guarantee the nutrients stay good for a year when stored properly and not been open.
Mine have obviously been open. I’ve kept them stored well but my plants seam to not be getting enough nutrients this run. I am running a different strain of autos and they may just need to feed heavier? I was just wanting to know if anyone has had any issues with dry nutrients and or Lotus nutrients going bad or lasting longer than a year with out going bad?

Check the plant leaves for signs of excess or feeding deficiencies Growmie. 99% of the time you can keep the same feed routine and dosage for all the various strains. I would recommend a different nutrient brand just to save money…Lotus is fairly expensive. Give Mega Crop 1 part a shot. Super simple and inexpensive :love_you_gesture:

I use Masterblend 3-part dry nutrients. I have some that was opened and used 18 months ago with no problems. Since the dry nutrients are basically inert, they should theoretically last indefinitely if stored properly. If they got wet, or exposed to high humidity, that can damage them. But if kept dry and sealed up properly, like in a good ziplock, mason jar, or tightly sealed storage container of some type, you should be good for at least 5 years or so. Hope that helps. It’s definitely cheaper to buy in bulk.

I’ll have to give that brand a try. Thank you for the help.
