Shaggy’s Lit Again

Here we go gang, I’ve decided to start my first journal. I’ve got 2 grows in different stages, I’ll be showing progress on both. I’ll start with my for the hell of it Royal Queen seeds Amnesia Haze auto. My wife said “ why don’t you grow 1 plant with the HLG200r in the 2x2”?..:astonished: this is why I married her! Even though I have my hands full with my other 6 at a different location. She chose the amnesia haze. I put her in a wet paper towel and inside a ziploc bag and less than 2 days later had a taproot. I then planted in a solo cup of roots organic original about 1/2 inch deep.

Those pics are from 8/5. She broke ground last week or two of July . I was slacking on her progress.

On Tuesday I decided to transplant her into her final home , a 3 gallon fabric pot of roots organic. Light is reading 350ppfd running 18/6 about 18 inches above canopy. No intake or exhaust fans running currently, I’ve been busy with work and all the flowering plants. This one’s going to get the back burner, but we’ll see how it goes.

Over the next few weeks I decided to pull the trigger on an HlG 700r and had a Colombian show its balls. Made some rearrangements in the room.

All these were flipped to 12/12 on July 9th. I was trying to give the smaller ones more time to catch up. It was never going to happen! The Colombians were just getting started.

The Colombians were pretty root bound in the 3 gallon pots and growing like crazy so I decided to transplant them right during the first week of flower. They didn’t skip a beat. They grew inches per day

I took out the 200r and swapped it for a better coverage light Mars hydro sp3000 over chocolope and hazy girl2. Not a better light then the 200 , but I needed more then 2x2 coverage.

It’s a jungle in here! I was having trouble getting the humidity down from high 60s -70 with my 4 “ exhaust fan. Went with an 8” ac infinity setup and raised the 700r as high as she will go. The 1 Colombian is like 8 ft tall and touching the light . The 8” fan with carbon filter is keeping humidity down nice .

All the ladies are building buds pretty nice. The Colombians are going to take a painfully long time from the looks of things. Just pistils everywhere,no real structure at this point.

The one Colombian had a few nanners on a few bottom buds. I just plucked them off and kept it moving. Been checking all the others and no sign of any hermies or any pollenation. Either way we smoking it! my pops said todays generation is crazy” all the best weed I ever smoked had seeds, you kept a tray just to catch all of them”. I’m growing the Colombian for him to see if he can relive his glory days!
