1.2 x 2.4 x 2m veg tent currently
Now as all the plants are at different stages, I was thinking of taking the 4 biggest, putting them in x 2 75L tanks, and seeing what I get!
Then while those are flowering the other 6 will be nice and big, so can flower the rest after.
I was thinking 600w HPS for 4 plants, any tips for maxing yield in this size of space?
I can’t really skrog as PHing will be impossible.
Also, would I need an extraction fan in this size tent? would it stink without one?
I will get a 4inch thermostatic intake fan through the cool tube of the 600w, just hope I don’t need an extraction one to!
@McLovin777 It really depends on your temperature and it will smell for $99 you can buy a carbon filter fan combo that’s what I have in mind for my outlet but it blows all the hot air out and all the smell out but it really does depend on with your lights on in the tent What your temperatures are
Nah I mean an intake fan, sucking through a carbon filter and through the cool tube, and out the other side, so It wouldn’t suck smell out, just heat from the light I think?
Also with a 400m/h fan that’s thermostatically controlled it shouldn’t need to work super hard to get the heat at 75 F
The fan I have now is next to a neighbour so I cant have it on at the level id need to suck a 600w lamps heat out unfortunately. The 1.2 x 1.2 could go in another room so noise wouldn’t be such an issue, just worried that the 3 LED’s I have running wouldn’t be enough to flower them all, and the 600w cant be ran in that room. Idea’s welcomed! lol

What size a lndcwatts are the leds ?
Actual watts? Got x 2 180s and x 1 190 x 1 370w
Only using 1 of the 180s as the other is noisy and gets too hot, could just get another decent led rather than set a new tent up really, as the plan is to move house after this flower. What dyou think country?
I think you could do it with that amount of led available to you for sure

With a vented hood you should be able to maintain temps in space much better bro
If you can run 400 watt hps why not 400 actual watts led ?
I have 360. 180 and 190 actual LED’s running right now dude, i just have this 600w digital ballast and cool tube so it should kick ass to have the extra wattage and light. LED’s are great and all, but you can just see from the amount of light that comes off a HID light it must kick ass so much more than LED’s - both… perfect. I’ll show you the diagram of my planned room after moving locations

So with a cool tube hood you should be able to add in and pull trough hood to exhaust I’ve seen people mount filter to hood with a short piece of flex so they could still adjust light as needed two birds one stone thing just a thought

yeah they are 2298.00 out of Amazon that’s really nice though I would hook that up to the battery back up on solar for sure lol

Just checked it out my man, very cool stuff. My biggest are at week 5 from seed today, looking prrtty good if I do say so myself
With regards to solar, it’s not that much to do it yourself but a pre electrical background, would be required, like maybe just for a couple of tents around 4 grand with battery backup
How many kw an hour would 4 grand get me?
I mean if o wanted to run 3kw for 16 hours a day would it even make s dent?
you could run whatever you wanted heat and air too, in the event the power goes out how long it last’s is dependent upon how many batteries you use for backup but maybe three days
