Thank you @Bunger64 and @Shadegrown
I’m almost done with my wine barrel trash can! Just needs to be stained now!

That’s gonna be beautiful! I can’t wait to see it staind.
@Caligurl I read that you were gonna get some of the nock off, Amazon, transplant bags. I have 30 (2 gallon) of them trying to save money. I much prefer the original Grassroots - Transplant-Inator bags. I have 12 of the 1 gallon bags.
My input on the matter:
Amazon ones - The sizes are off, 2 gallon = 1 gallon. They only have cheap Velcro on one side, they don’t seal with any type of mess in it. They don’t open far, so you end up with a mess and damaged roots, while trying to remove them. The sewing is hit or miss. They do have handles.
Grassroots - Transplant-Inator bags, though more expensive, have industrial Velcro on both sides, so the split in half. Easy to work with. True to size; all be it, to the very top, as with the Amazon bags. Taller but skinnier than the Amazon bags. Don’t have handles. Have made it through 4 years, so far. Many even stay outside in the full sun.
Interested in your wine barrel transformation Sister. I love see what kind of creative juices we all get going on.
Oh good to know! TY!!! Yeah, I bought some plain old 2 gallon fabric pots and they were closer to 1 gallon pots… very frustrating and of course, past the time to return
Thanks! I’ve got 2 more. 1 is going to be split and made into 2 flower pots (not the normal where they are just cut in half… way more appealing.
The 2nd is going to be made into a ‘chest’ for yard storage but I also want to be able to put an ice chest in for parties.
@Caligurl I received your card today… and it felt like Christmas.
You are most kind and generous. I am truly humbled and blessed to have such an amazing grow family here. Thank you!
Yep… that surprised me. Them extracts got you all retro’d.
Beautiful grow going @Caligurl love your greenhouse!!
Just sitting in my flooding city, sparked so.e of the Nepali Pink tonight.
Girl, this schnitzel 's fire.
I’m lit. Nice choice!!
Tokes on bowl, bows, slides out the door
Thanks FarmGirl! Nepali Pink’s were my very first grow (from clone)… I really enjoyed it!
Are you in Illinois?
Update
I’ve been scoping the plants all week and not a single bug to be found! I do have a bunch of annoying little flies in the enclosure but I don’t think they are doing any harm (other than feeding Larry and Freddy LOL).
I gave them all a very light feeding of FPP (Fermented Plant Juice) made from my last trimmings a week ago. Let me tell you that Sh!t is stinky!!! But I diluted it at 1:100 since it’s the first time trying it on them (I’ve tried it on a few of my herbs and the only one that didn’t like it was my basil… that may need more of a diluted mix). In the FPP, I added some WOW fulvic and humic, some cal/mag and Epsom with a touch of LABS with molasses. They are getting watered with the automated system twice a day now - it’s still really hot here and will be for another week.
They did get sprayed again with PureCrop 1. I had to spray the cantaloupe with some copper fungicide mixed with PC1. The cantaloupe is taking over and I’ve only found 2 single female flowers out of the 50-60 flowers on the plant. If it doesn’t start producing I may remove it to avoid the fungus from transferring to the sacred plants.
Grasshoppers attacked my bean plants so those are completely gone. Can’t find Nolo bait anymore so I mixed up some garlic spray and sprayed everything around the bean plants.
@DefNSmokn - this is from the GF#2! Both of the GF’s have these huge fan leaves! They are absolute monsters!
I think Jack is about to show up and start climbing. Those stalks are huge!
So I’ve identified my little annoying flies! They are good guys! could be another reason I have no bugs!
And I also found this guy outside the garden… an Antlion! Anther good guy! Their larvae are known as Doodle Bugs!
LOL… They’ve only just begun too! They will be the size of a beer bottle before it’s over! The GF’s are going to be massive! Probably the biggest I’ve had so far!
They are looking great!
Thank you!
Cool info on the flies
Thanks for the ID. I’ve been seeing those too and was hoping they were good guys… cuz they’re almost impossible to catch…but I’m no Mr. Miyagi.
That’s what I’m talking about!
