Seeing color change

I switched to flowering march 17th, I been seeing leafs changing colors and crinkling up, these are super skunks, and the ppm is about 1300 and ph is at 6, I just flushed them and added some cal mag, running a flood table also, temps is 70 degrees humidity 60ish

A little high for my liking…900-1000/1.8-2.0 EC works for me. What medium are you using and light height to the canopy and intensity. Some of the leaf pics resemble a mag deficiency but not the main issue with leaves drying and dying :love_you_gesture:

Rockwool is what I’m using, the lighting is pretty close

When you said flush…what method did you use? What light are you using and how close is close? If you don’t have a meter, let’s set the height and intensity by the MFs suggestion :love_you_gesture:

Meaning I let a water hose run on each for bout 20 30 secs to push what it can out the rockwool, then dumped the resorivor out and redid all nutrients, I do not have a meter

Also I’m using two 1000 hps

:point_up_2: critical to have a PH and TDS pen Growmie. Using any form of hydro will need routine PH checks in the res, Mixing nutrients to the right EC and PH. I’m not an HPS guy so tagging in @dbrn32 for help setting this with you not having a meter or the phone app called PHOTONE.

Can you post some root pics and more overall plant pics? The heat and intensity from the lighting definitely seems to be an issue. Hang in there….we’ll get them back on point :love_you_gesture:

2000 watts is a tremendous amount of heat . It’s also a lot of light to not have CO2 pumped in with it which you would have to have along with great ventilation to grow right @Cwb614 . We need pictures of the setup to be more help

I’m gonna hook a vent fan up tomorrow on them

The HPS on the Left needs to Move over a little and they both can move up as high as you can get them or if the table is moveable like mine…move it to the right a little. If you can dim the lights, get the light app that works with your phone and set the PPFD to around 800 or DLI of 32-35 for now. They are really only in the second week of flowering. @Cwb614 if the temps in hydro get above 85 deg the plants really suffer big time.

I can’t dim them unfortunately

Too bad…the one HPS would cover the 4 plants…it just needs to be high enough for the light to cover everything.

Another thing is my table is tight in there and I had struggled to find a resorivor that wasn’t so tall so I don’t have much more room for the lights to go up

That’s why I put casters

on mine. I have 5 x 6 and it’s tight but I can move it enough to work my plants

I also think you could lift up your lights a little.

Your biggest issue maybe be lack of substrate in your table. It’s not necessary, but you’re using small rockwool cubes and any roots that escape will be air pruned with no substrate or cover.

There In 6x6 rockwool cubes
Lights might be able to go a inch

Right, those cubes aren’t going to hold the root mass these plants are trying to produce. And from what it looks like in pictures I would maybe look to reconfigure.

But wouldn’t the roots just keep pushing from underneath?
