I have smoked lots of Bud’s with seeds and really knock-out but I have read where pollinating male plants actually changed sex I always thought it caused seedy Bud’s but still Female I remember growing a plant that turned to all seeds and fan leaves very little to smoke left all seeds my failure to git rid of males

Pollen causes seedy buds ,only males can produce pollen ,however a female plant can also grow male parts that produce pollen ,and that’s considered a hermaphrodite .
A male plant can’t change sex and turn female to my knowledge .
I’m sorry,edit…female plants can also produce female pollen but need to be manipulated to do so .
Male plants cannot be pollinated as they don’t produce female flowers

Pollen sacks and fan leafs would be a male plant. (No flowers)

That has always been a mystery to me I would say most all my baggies had seeds yes Bud’s with seeds you had to pick out or risk exploding seeds this has been 25 years ago if we ever got anything seedless it was called sinsemillia

I’m 48 ,and same here ,
In my younger years brick bud was the majority of what was going around .
And I’m pretty sure males and females were just allowed to grow together the amount of seeds in my bags too .
I’ve also manually pollinated some branches in my previous grows and the seeded weed comes out just as good as the non seeded

Yes I have grown from harvested seeds many times didn’t even know what feminized seeds were and you had to be quick to rid all males before sacks opened I always seemed to miss one ! I like the feminized seeds they made growing alot easier

Yes bags seeds you have grow a bunch to get a few seemed like to me and I always didn’t catch male plants in time always that one you couldn’t quite figure out 
no complaints I grew some good weed and was able to produce more seeds off the same plant that seemed to get better every year Now with Feminized I don’t have to guess

Yeah, back in the day would have to put that backpack on and visit the plants. Stay on top of it an weed the male plants out. Start with 15 plants end up with 7 plants.

You must admit it was fun I remember laying down looking at a hovering chopper with a open cockpit I had 10 plant’s we’ll either he was blind or ignored me looking for bigger!

Yes , I remember those days. We tied plants over an try to hide the plants and make it not so obvious from the sky. ( Now they have fancy training names for this practice.)

Low stress training especially for those tall Sativa Varieties I did one last year the branches grow upwards towards the sun it also helped me spray and prune and hide I’ll be doing again this year with some Haze plant’s fingers crossed so far my seedlings look good about time to transplant into a bigger pot
