@antonioperez96 here’s my journal, friend. :v:

I’ve got a round of new ladies growing now, I am waiting for them to make it past the “fatal” stage in my grow room (aka the first three weeks are when they’re most likely to keel). If she makes it, I’ve got an LSD - Grace Slick. Also among the living (for now) are a Marmalate, a White Widow, and some other sh!t I don’t remember. Peanut Butter Breath, if she’ll hang on for me.

Honestly I’m behind schedule :joy: I didn’t want to trim so many buds, but what can you do? Procrastinate a little bit that’s about it

I do that too  I’ll chop one plant every other day or so, so that I don’t have to trim them all in one day

Gray just cracks me up sometimes! I have a full brigade to trim this fall since they get nice Xmas presents. Now I just need to find my Boveda packs!

Yessir, in order it’s

MIL → friend (who practically lives with us most days) → wife → brother → me

Which is saying a lot because my wife used to be pretty well below me and I only do edibles to sleep sometimes  I went and turned her into a stoner on accident

Started the monumental task of cleaning out my autopots this morning. Started at 6am. Got 5 cleaned (of 10) before lights out. Of course I had to water all the plants etc etc etc too.

@Fiz @JaneQP on fungus gnats - I have noticed a steep decline in my gnat population in the past week after applying Gnatrol to my plants. I saw a fresh round of squirmys in a couple of my solo cups when watering this AM - means the last of the flying ones are still around laying eggs and whatnot. Reapplied a fresh full dose (1 tablespoon per gal) of Gnatrol to the feed water and watered heavily. Hopefully I’ll only need one more serious application in the next week or two to finish off the life cycle totally. The idea is the larvae eat the Gnatrol, which is like encapsulated yeast (smells like it too), and when they eat it it pretty much expands inside em and pop. They’re done for.

I got my new “reservoir” drilled and fitted: 32 gal for while I’m away-

And lastly, Ruby Juice showed her sex. Well. His sex. Ugh.

Ohhhh nooo! BALLS!

Thanks for the tip on the Gnatrol. I seem to have kicked the thrips finally though now that I said it out loud, one will be waving to me from the top of Sally when I check this afternoon…

Sorry that it’s a boy plant.

I never heard of that, so I looked it up. Seems harder to find than Mosquito Bits (at least on Amazon), but it seems easier to use since it’s just a powder to mix in with water, as opposed to soaking the bits for 30 minutes and then straining out the corn. Glad that it’s working. I need to do more “bit water” on my plant for my next watering.

Yeah, that’s why I couldn’t keep up with the mosquito bits - I have decomposing corn nibs all over the top of my plants which is counterproductive to trying to get rid of bugs. I rarely have 30 minutes to futz around with my water before watering.

I found an 8oz bag on EBay for not too much, and honestly as fast as it seems to be working, I would happily invest in a large bucket of it (I think they sell them as 5lb containers) if I need it again in life. A pound is $73 and should be enough for a couple severe infestations. I’ve treated my entire room twice now with the 8oz baggie and still have probably 3oz left.

Also no worries about the gonads- I’ll drop a couple more ruby’s once I get back from vacation. :v:

I assume my lovely monster Frosted Jungle is suffering some root problems, likely due to the fungus gnat infestation. Examining her leaves and see this:

Somewhat widespread
Much of her is in sore shape from bad light penetration, but the curling leaves is new.

Hey @Pet_de_Chien - I just wanted to check in with you and make sure I didn’t step on any toes somewhere along the way. :v: Not sure where to do that except here.
