And I also apologize to I’m new to this forum and website and still trying to figure out how it all works
I don’t see what you’re referring to on the plant. The top two leaves are bright lime green of growth.
Some of the leaves are wavy, but as it matures, it’ll grow more normally. It’s a little bit of nutrient excess, until it grows larger it’s able to manage the nutrients better.
Cannabis is a tough plant and grows in a lot of ranges. You are ok for temp but in the humidity range you are low. Do you have the ability to add humidity like a humidifier? That would help
You can grow in hydro at 75 degrees in veg but the growth will be slow. pH range of buckets need to be tracked and adjusted.
I do not see anything that shouts out fail. I had leaves hit the pebbles and get the same way. It looks like a sub optimal environment that will grow but slower and more susceptible to disease and pests.
Ok and yea I can get a humidifier thank you for the input I appreciate it and the pest thing tho surprisingly has never been an issue
Yer in hydro. Hydroton can not support the life cycle of pests. Root slime from bacteria are the big things.
Are you familiar with Vapor Pressure Deficit?
I’ve combined both posts @Big30 please don’t multiple post, it clogs the feed for others who also need assistance.
The leaves started doing that in just plain water and I put like a quarter of the bites it said to put I only just put in a little bit of bites the leaves started that while just in ph reverse osmosis water
I’m not familiar with it what is it ?
I apologize new to this page still tryna figure it all out
Vpd is the relationship between temp and humidity. Your grow environment needs to be under control so you can get the plant to transpire or take up water. If the numbers are not in a range the plant will not thrive.
The temp you are running is ok for a seedling but you will need to raise more temp later to successfully grow. Your humidity is way low. We can see where we need to be by using a controller app that modifies your humidity to raise it.
This place does not like outside links so you will need to look up a VDP chart for cannabis. It will have temp on one side and the humidity on the other side. Where they meet is the VDP reading for that ratio. In seedling you want lower temps and higher humidity then in veg you want higher temps and lower humidity. Then in flower we run high light and medium temps until late flower then drop humidity. This is why you must be able to modify your grow environment. Even if your system would run a seedling ok you have 12-16 weeks ahead of you and the needs of the plant change
Here are 2 app control screenshots. First is day time for veg 6 weeks along
The second is night time right now.
You see that the VDP is the same so the ratio of temp and heat are the same but the numbers of changed. This keeps the plant healthy. I use an app but you can use other means sick as the chart and sensors
So do you have the ability to move heat up and down and humidity up and down? Do you have the ability to move air around your plant with fans so the air is fresh?
@DEEPDIVERDAVE that’s a dandy of a chart. I’m going to look into it more tomorrow to try and help dial my girls in. @Big30 you got a lot of help here I sure know I couldn’t do it without them.
I use temp/rh sensors for temp/rh offset calibration.
I use the IR-Gun for leaf temperature (VPD Offset).
VPD offset is leaf temp MINUS ambient temp.
Should be net negative or you are too hot/close to lights (stressing the plants).
Cloudline Controllers’ software can store VPD offset.
