Seed size, how this affects germination

I’m not entirely new to starting seeds but here is a question I have relating to seed size and viability. My latest effort is with autoflower. I’m experiencing some germination problems with these new seeds.
First attempt, 3 seeds, all three germinated fine. One lost, my problem. The next 5 seeds are a flop entirely, only one sprouted, weakly. What i did notice is the sizes of the remaining seeds. 3 of the seeds are what I call plump, larger then all the rest by at least 1x.
I am going to test how the size of the seed has anything to do with healthy germination. 3 of the seeds are small while three are larger. I’m germinating them separately. I may not be right on this but I need to see for my self. Let you k ow

You just can never tell. My best plant came from the smallest, palest seed in the pack. She sprouted and after a month she had only grown 2 nodes. I stuck with her and she ended up giving out half a pound.

I am experiencing the same issues with a non-auto Super Skunk fem order of seeds I just got. All the seeds in the order were all smaller than normal. Thought maybe this was a strain trait. I started 6 of them and none sprouted so far. The seeds look good other than they are at least 30% smaller than I would expect. Even if some sprout, I am wondering just how good they will turn out.
