I know nothing about coco. I can only parrot what Annie says, looks wet, but could just be how coco looks.

Yes without the perlite there is little room for O2 when the coco is wet it like to compact together. Also staying really moist and not drying up very well or draining. The perlite allows for airflow in the pots. Rule of thumb is 20-30% perlite to coco ratio.

That’s what iv got in order 100L of perlite and 100L of coco coir I was going to mix 5/6L of perlite to 19/20L of coco as my pots are 25L

Well update on the kids the sick one was very ill and still is but is hanging in there barely but there is hope the othe thriving and due to be potted tomorrow in my new lab I’m now using my whole loft as it’s converted and instead of using my tiny tent I have perfect cubby holes for germinating with halogen soot lights witch are mint ow and I have two more kids due to be planted tomorrow also after the last failed germinating attempt I’m chuffed these have cracked and healthy

Right the new lab is up and running two seeds under 250w hps the other two kids have been repotted under a 600w hps one plant is on 15%canna A&B ph 6.0 the sicknone has just had water ph 5.8

Cheers it’s such a good space and my landlord is sound about it so I thought why not bring them in to the whole loft and the cubby holes I’ll be using for germinating there perfect I’m loving my new hobby

All the kids under one light sobfrom the top A is thriving on a 15%canna A&B ph water of 6.0 the sick one B isn’t going to make it I don’t think so it’s just water at the mo and the new kids and one of the seeds have popped and just eating for the other to do the same all on ph water and all are under a 400w hps
