No, they drying out every two days, with living soil you have to keep it hydrated, don’t let dry completely out. I don’t water to run off. haha, sign you up you think easy peasy, it is in a way, that you only have to make your soil once, then you use over and over again, bio char lasts a long time.

I just mixed up my first batch of living soil. Its cooking in a tub in my garage. I only hope to have a garden as nice as that one. I’ll be putting a compost tea aerator/brewer thing together next week. I will get cover crop seeds as well. Havent decided which seeds yet.

Thank you @monkman @Gremmall @AAA @Budbrother and everyone else that is following along, asking questions, helping to learn. Everyone in the ilgm community I hope is doing well through this pandemic crisis situation. But I do see some unfair stuff going on especially making people put on mask now when it should have been done two months ago. Putting arrows on the floor making you go one way down on aisle at the grocery store should have been done a couple months ago. I work for the government years ago and learned there always a little late on everything because they have so much red tape to go through. Where I live we are on the downhill curve and now they are going to start making everybody go one way down aisles at Walmart. This is to me very crazy at this point. I also read a study that by making everybody stay home makes viruses worse because there’s no natural immunity been done. I don’t know it is a very crazy world right now and I hope things start getting back to normal . these stores making you wear masks, arrows on the floor and crazy crap like that is just prolonging this pandemic. Maybe that’s what they want to do keep the visual going. The mask, the arrows o ne way down isles, all this crazy stuff is keeping the visual going so that you get in a panic and think and accept this as The New Normal. Don’t fall in the Trap. Be smart.

lol there are a couple of “social” things that could be put in here. we haven’t had a “world” war to keep population down so this is what happens is one… just a thought, dismal as it is lol. when the pandemic first hit i was a proponent of just living our life as is and let it run it’s course, but our health system would not have been able to handle that as it would have spread too fast and too many would be at risk. i saw on msn.com that scientists said they think they will have a cure by Sept. which would be great. we are going to have a second wave according to the guy from CDC but that is just about 98% sure because of the social distancing. but… if we can hold that second wave off until end of summer maybe we can have the cure happening by then and it won’t be so deadly. our governor said to stay home. i have not, i’ve gone into town for lunch and cigs every day on my bike except for rainy days, no more broken knees lol. but i don’t go out to eat on the east end of town where the freeway is, i stay to one restaurant on the north end away from all the possibilities of those where there is lots of folks around. mostly the only ones going to this restaurant are locals so i feel safer. we all just need to be patient. yeah, and on the government thing… it is why we need to keep the government out of as much of our life as possible. if you want to have something run on mediocrity let the government do it. they waste more money than they spend properly.

I think covid has been in our country for quite a while. According to the symptoms it ran through my house in February. We think my wife’s cowork brought it back from Hawaii. Can’t be certain but my wife and daughter had high temps with respiratory problems. Wiped my daughter out for five days.
I think there’s more to the story we’re not prive to.

There is an antibody test that’s done just like a pregnancy test. Results in less than 10 min.

We were offered to buy them from a Chinese supplier that we used to work with, but didn’t buy as we didn’t feel like investing in them.
Then, we scheduled an appt at a local doctors office to get tested and bam! They had the same test.
So, if you want to get 100 or more, the are approx $3 FOB and around $4 LDP.
But I’m sure with some digging you can find some locally or a Dr that administers the tests locally.

Oh and they smell so sweet, when you first open the tent you get blasted, I have a filter in this tent so really can’t smell them unless I open the tent.
Here in veg tent I have 4 plants and 2 little clones I might put the clones outside, have one outside now but it isn’t looking good.

and this one here is another gi and I think it got root bound, they suggest if growing in living soil to use 15 gal min. thinking is 7 gal too small for this one plant. I think I just found out why, the trunk of this girl is thick

Have to take a couple week break in the near future so I can bring a crew over here to put new flooring in. That’s the plan. Will give me time to clean and reset everything. Happy no one is sick that I know of, thank the Lord.

Thank you @Gremmall (hope you’re settled in dude !) and @Enlightened420. That one GI with the big trunk, well way bigger than the others, seems to have some sort of problem going on in the roots, gave some enzime elixer along with yucca. see if that helps her pick up her leaves. Happy Growing !
