Same old box, brand new strain

I made some disgusting but super potent cannabis olive oil with the trim from harvest. I used the olive oil to make brownies, also disgusting. But got me high, a little nauseous, but high.:joy::joy:

Friday morning
I let her go 4 days between watering and she’s dry for sure. My first grow the advice I was given was to water by weight, @Hellraiser was the first to bring it to my attention and several others since. I never understood or really thought it was accurate, I now understand why. Patience, I had none the first grow. Looking back I can clearly see that now, after 4 days of no water this plant which by appearance looks like it would be heavy. It’s not heavy at all, I mean amazing how light this healthy plant is. So long story short, I never let the first go long enough without water to get that reality of what your looking for.

Monday will be the start of week 4 flower, so far I have zero complaints or issues (knock on wood) upgrading to a 6 gallon pot is probably the most significant of any improvements I made, she’s double the size of my last one at least.
One gallon water with 12ml tiger bloom 5ml cal mag and just one pump of the general purpose food. I never get any runoff with just one gallon but there’s also been no noticeable issues. I think the start of week 5 or 6 I will do heavy water only until a decent amount of runoff occurs. Not a flush but just heavy watering to help move things through. I’ve kept added nutrients to a minimum to this point in hopes of keeping the soil sort of healthy if that makes sense.
And my clone here is doing good as well, took almost a week and a half I think for her to drink up all the water after transplant. Gave her a half gallon RO water with cal mag. I flipped her to a 12/12 light schedule last night. Granted the room she’s at isn’t exactly ideal, the lighting is really not enough for a good harvest. But I’m doing it anyway because I don’t care about it producing good bud. I just want to experiment with forcing it to seed, so right now I’m just waiting to see any signs it’s back in flower.

You think thats what happened to your roots? Maybe they were just too wet for too long last time?

Absolutely, I know the exact moment I screwed myself. Lesson learned, wet roots are soon to be dead roots :skull:

Looking superb! So green and lush. You’re going to have a nice harvest! Hopefully I’m able to get my numbers up. I disappointed myself weight wise on the first girl. Was really wanting that 4 ounce mark. Hopefully running two this time will definitely push me over that and closer to 8. Just gotta hurry up and get a little bit taller of a tent. Then I’ll use my
little 4 footer for a dryer

Yeah idk wtf was up with that, for how long you vegged that thing shoulda been producing some weight man…just know you should get at least 2 oz each from those hopefully, how long you planning on veg for?

Until the tent is full, like packed wall to wall. Don’t really care how long it takes. I will top each girl accordingly to keep them both at the same height. Hell probably even do some super cropping.

How big are the pots your using?

The last time I defoliated my girl I decided to try some super cropping, I practiced on a small branch I cut off but only once did I feel and hear the pop. I started to try on my branches but got nervous twisting and not hearing the pop, so I gave up. Maybe I’ll try again, who knows

Currently in 3 gallon pots

I was using 3 gallon last time and I think we were pretty close in size for the most part the whole way through. I’m hoping 6 gallon pot will double mine from before, your running 2 girls so you should double as well. You’ve got a 6 gallon pot split between 2, well not really but you get my point. How old are your girls?

Honestly haven’t been keeping track as the first set of seeds I dropped never sprout. probably around 3 weeks or so

It’s amazing how little I paid attention or even updated the journal much till now. Kind of like having kids, the first daughter I wouldn’t let anyone touch her. I slapped and old lady’s hand because she was reaching to touch my daughters face. Not really proud of that one, but anyway by the second, no worries. I’ll gladly hand her off to someone to hold :joy:
First grow I was by this plant 24/7, obsessed over everything. Now try to be remember to at least look in once a day, but otherwise just go about life while she grows.

100% agreed @tchop134. I used to check on her multiple times a day. Lol now I’m lucky if I check her once a day, and I feel like this grow is going smoother. Hopefully just smooth sailing.

just a little side by side from my first grow and my current grow at roughly the same Point, in terms of number of days at 12/12 more pictures I just took a little bit ago.
So today 10-19-20 is the start of week 4, 28 days into 12/12.
Perhaps against my better judgement I did not add any extra nutrients this watering. Just cal mag and some molasses, gallon and a half this time. Still only got about a cup of total runoff, but at least I know she got a good soak all the way through. The soil I transplanted into just before flower is ffof, and it’s only been a little over a month so should still be lots of nutrients left. The molasses hopefully helps promote that micro activity, I won’t water again until Friday most likely. Seems locked in at watering Monday’s and fridays like clock work now, next watering she will get a healthy feeding complete with blooming nutrients.

Checked in on the lady and she’s dry, wasn’t planning to water till tomorrow morning. So she got the 1 gallon treatment with 5ml cal mag and 12ml tiger bloom. Not a single drop of runoff, let’s see if this lasts her till Monday, I doubt it. Clone is still good on water and after some cleanup she’s really growing fast now.

Huge pain in my ass! The net was impossible to put back over the plant, so I improvised using 2 1/2 foot lengths of conduit. 2 inch offset from the walls give me rails that I can secure the net in place above, then slide down in place. Problem is this pant is huge and super F$&@ing sticky!! I beat the :poop: out of her trying to get everything through the netting, the buds were getting smashed and stuck together. Anyway done and she looks taller now

This interesting arrangement of lighting is kicking out about 235 true watts of power. I am considering getting a par meter and see how good this lighting is or isn’t.

I really wanna get a par meter also. Them things are pricey though

Have you looked into it? How much are they? I’ve heard they’re expensive but never checked it out
