Roberts’s Gold Leaf update

Growing strong so far , first time growing this one , should be a good one and I plan on growing this one totally different than any I have done yet

U can put ur light closer to it or up the power a bit. See how u have nice gaps between nodes. Tighten them all up by adding more power or lower the lights a bit to slow the stretch down so keep nodes tighter for bigger colas.

How much days is this

28 days

Lights are right on top of them plus I have my big light on and you don’t want that one close to anything, The lights have been as close as can be from beginning , anyways I like what is showing and actually think it’s doing very good thanks

I agree it looks good. Also agree that it probably needs some more lighting.
What lights do you have? What brand and model.
Perhaps we can help you go from good to great.

For the picture I had to turn off my main light in order to get a decent picture so I don’t know why you think I need more light or closer this is the gold leaf and don’t have anything to compare to on the strain growth my others are thicker but I also have other strain’s going and each one is different in growing just depends on the plants mostly my strain that I created is short and thick but it is bread to be

Sorry for asking. I will leave you alone. Have fun

Not a problem, if you have grown this strain please share your pics of it so we all have something to compare to, that would be a big help. Thanks

Here is a Gold Leaf that I grew a bit over one year ago.
This as at 35 days since sprouting:

And this is the same plant two weeks after flipping to flower light schedule:

I hope this is what you were wanting to see.

Nice was yours topped off for scrog it looks like it. And at what node 4-5 , I plan on running mine straight across my 10’ long net no topping. First time for this type of process don’t know what will come of it but I have been told this is a big plant when finished

I very seldom top my plants. I do use LST techniques to get the shape and even canopy that I want. The plant in the photos was a victim of LST.

Edit: Gold Leaf and White Widow, both from ILGM, were the very first seeds that I purchased and the first plants that I ever grew. They turned out quite well for a first effort.

I see a lot of people flipping lights way earlier than I ever do , I run veg for very long time about four to five months then flip , How long do most veg for I still do it the old way longer is better , is flipping sooner still giving high thc levels .

I don’t about THC levels as a function of plant age/size.

I normally veg my plants untill they are are from 56 to 63 days old. My current grow was messed up a bit, so I vegged for 70 days.

All of my plants result in “kick ass” buds that very potent.

Wow , I have never run regulars that fast , I get a lot out of my plants when done , I never top either , I grow my auto’s while my regulars veg out . I am also using both old and new lights so they are being super blasted with lights . I can’t count how many grows I have done because auto’s go fast while waiting on regs

Here is a photo of the same plant that I posted earlier. This photo was near to harvest time. I got about 1 lb dried and cured from that plant. That is about what I average overall.
