Request splitting some posts to a new thread

I’ve flagged my first post at Grow Mentorship - #62 by Gl1tch. I think it and the following posts (through #72) are worthwhile but out of place.

If @Gl1tch is amenable, I suggest moving them to Indoor Growing/Grow Room. A good title might be “Don’t overload your electrical circuits,” although Gl1tch may have a better one.

Additional posts that should be split have been added since my request above.

I wouldn’t put up an argument that it would be a good topic but these responses you want split are relevant to OP’s own comments. Therefore I’m inclined to leave them where they are.

The posts I’m referring to aren’t responsive to the OP, who didn’t reply to or remark on any of them. They’re a side discussion between @Gl1tch and myself, plus a few more that you and Gl1tch added later. They can be moved without disrupting the thread.

I’m speaking of posts 62 - 71 and 87 - 90.

I’d like add a reply, but have been waiting in hope of the split so I can do so without hijacking Quiven’s thread any more than I have already.

Not entirely true though, OP has multiple posts discussing circuit loading in their grow.

If this was your topic and you wanted it split, no problem at all. But it’s not proper to split someone’s topic at another members request, especially when the discussion is related to some of OP’s comments. You are free to start a new topic if you like. There may even be a topic more closely related out there accessible from search bar, but I’ll leave it to you if you’d like to go digging.

Posts 56 - 61 are a conversation between the OP (@Quivln) and Gl1tch (plus one from Crazy88) about circuit loading and provide the info he needed.

The posts I’m referring (62 - 71 and 87 - 90) to are a side conversation that distracts from the thread and Quiven didn’t participate in.

You’re right to differentiate between a request from an OP vs. someone else. I’ve tagged Quiven so maybe we’ll learn his opinion.

Thank you @Venturi
I don’t have a big issue with them, but honestly, wouldn’t be bad to remove them from the thread. I suppose the thread needs to be changed to something like my grow journal. It would be nice if that side conversation was removed. Not to be rude about it, but it does add some extra stuff that I’ll most likely just have to scroll past to get to the information I’m looking for.

Can we get the thread updated to ‘Newbie Grow Journal’ or something like that? I don’t mind other people chiming in with questions if they are getting some good eyes on an issue though.

Unless I should just start a new thread for my journal and leave that thread as a general topic? I think there’s already several general help topics, but I’m up for anything really.
