Repotted Saturday

And I’m afraid that I’m going to be ordering another light. As long as they do good…

Well personally I don’t like the fox farm trio it’s very salty. On the other hand we’re in a very bad economy so I wouldn’t waste money on my recommendations when you have what you have. We’ll make it work.

On the 150cc of water that you gave her today how long does that typically take to dry?

If or when you have time I want you to get a cup of water from your sink (tap water) and pour a cup. Measure both the PPM and the pH and let me know what it says

What was the exact date that your girls pop out of the soil?

Also to answer your question no I don’t recommend things staying the same. We’re going to up your water and very soon start saturating your pot and running off (in the very near future)

5 seconds.
How about we continue and I still get the pen? Yes!!!

I would definitely order the pen regardless. I’ve used the same pen for 2 years it is so accurate it’s unbelievable.

The two pens you have look like Vivoson pens in their junk overpriced Chinese :poop:

Like I said if you can get a cup of water and measure it with your pens will be okay using them until your new pan arrives.

That’s really the last thing I need to know from you except for the exact date those girls popped out of the ground and then I can tell you how to proceed

Birthday was March 27 between 4 pm and 12 pm ( they popped their heads out out ).

Not calibrated and it makes no sense but the pH read 8.05
Ppm 27.2 the # above the ppm read 0228

Should I calibrate?

Yes, you want to calibrate it, it always helps to know that it is…

I see you have a little dirt moisture tester. I always found them useful during veg.

If I had your scenario and set up I would do this…

Once your plant has become dry your going to up your water from 150cc to four (4) cups. When you prepare your water check the pH and adjust it to 6.5 going in.

You stated your TAP water’s been coming out 6.4 that’s okay don’t adjust the pH if it’s 6.4 if it’s lower than 6.4 then do 6.5

Hopefully you ordered that meter quickly so you can get it fast and put that issue to rest.

When you water them I want you to measure approximately 2 inches away from the stem and start watering in a circle working your way out towards the rims of the pot. Poor Slow. The idea here is to get her roots reaching out for the water. When you’re done and you look at the stem you’re going to have a 2-inch circle all the way around that’s dry. (Do the same thing to both girls)

Once that dries you’re going to up it to six (6) cups of water. And when I say dry you want it pretty dry. It should take about 2 days. Nonetheless you need to start upping everything.

After those two water/feeds we can evaluate them and possibly advance to watering to a runoff so we can monitor your soil.

Like I said if you can calibrate it do it. Do you have calcium magnesium better known as Cal mag? If you don’t it’s something you’re going to need.

It looks like your PPM pen is way off

Yes I have Fox Farm Cal Mag.
I need to do something that won’t take but 20 minutes. I’ll calibrate and will let you know the reading after that’s completed.

Yes much better. Sorry to make you do that I just wanted to get a feeling for what your tap water that you’ll be using is.

When your plant gets dry proceed with the plan four (4) cups of water ph’ed to 6.5 (add your up or down a couple drops at a time until you reach 6.5 it’s very easy to put too much)

What’s that fish fertilizer? Who’s it made by? Also have you printed out a fox farm feeding schedule for your line of nutrients?

I will say, your water is very high PPM this could be the meter or it could be your local water.

The fish fertilizer is for tomato :tomato: plants. I just keep them all together.
As for the Fox Farm fertilizers, I haven’t used any yet. Yes, I have the schedule for Fox Farm Fertilizer.

Fish Fertilizer is by Lilly Miller Brands, GA.
It’s a 5-1-1. Central Garden and Pet is listed as well.

The water in Upstate NY is VERY hard. I have to clean the humidifiers every week. Orange buildup. That’s with and without little filters.

I use RO water, rainwater, or distilled water. They all have the EC value of 0

As you get a true nutrient feed rather than half nutrients and half whatever the hell’s coming out of your tap

I don’t use ppm I use EC so sometimes I get confused when I’m helping somebody I automatically think EC

Basically what you’re going to be doing is calculating how much food you’re getting your plants.

Examples: if you have to feed your plants a total of 1,000 EC and your tap water is 450EC then you’re losing all that nutrients to whatever is in your tap water. Don’t get me wrong there’s some good stuff in there. But using the waters I mentioned above you give them the full 1000 EC of nutrients. Basically you control what they get

You getting ready to grow some tomatoes? :tomato::tomato::tomato::tomato:

And here my inner idiot emerges…
I dont know what I’ve waited for but I haven’t provided any nutrients to these plants yet. Ive barely watered them. Now the yellow on the one leaf makes sense! God, i feel like someone just hit me with a two by four and not a tent. A piece of wood, lol! Yeah, I’m awake now. I will fertilizer them tomorrow later morning. I really cant give a good reason for my hold up. Possibly early dementia. Anyway, thank you for your wisdom thus far. I want to say that I grew marijuana successfully in my lifetime despite it resembling kidney dialysis a bit too. Also, Im not trying for a gigantic yield but healthy plants throughout their life cycle. I very much appreciate your direction and in a sense being an alarm clock for feeding. My mind got stuck on week 2 going into week three and in reality it’s week 4. Oh well, we all will get caught up. Im ready!

I have my tomatoes at 4 inches to 6 inches currently. You see I liv4d in PA all of my life and its a completely different growing season here cl8se to Canada. He weather has gone fron 72 to 32 in a day. Its quite bipolar! Yes, to answer your tomatoe question. I also grow coca, cooking herbs, and toothache plants. All fun respectfully. Thats why, or part of the reason I’d l8ke to be successful with cannabis.
