Repotted Saturday

I answered some of my own questions by going to the top of your post and reading everything.

The plants are drooping because you’re using plastic dome covers all the time that is not good for a plant that age it needs air flow. It’s good that you watered it. Ditch the domes for now. It’s a great idea for baby seedlings just popping up you’ve transplanted it you want to be very gentle from here out.

You gave them some water and that’s good too they’re starting to look a little bit better. I agree from the new pictures. I don’t believe you have any problems except smothering in that dome.

  1. Just in my head I’m guessing you’re giving them 5 oz of water something like that?

  2. What kind of water are you giving the plant

  3. What is your current humidity in the area of your plants right now also what is the temperature?

4 Are you controlling the heat in the room?
Do you have a humidifier and a dehumidifier and are you currently using them?

  1. From the looks of your picture you are not growing in a tent nor a closet just an open corner of your room am I correct on this?

I’m not trying to invade your privacy or anything but I would like to see a better picture of the girls environment can you take a nice picture of the corner you’re growing in for me please.

Sorry for all the questions unfortunately the more I ask the better I understand the easier it is to assist you.

Hi again. Okay they will be four weeks old on Sunday. They are in 5 gallon bags with Happy Frog. I have no tent but are 24" under a Spider Farmer 301H EVO 1000W at 35% light. Two days ago I put homemade plastic domes on them because of only having 3 fingers. Since I started with the domes the new leafs they are producing have 5 fingers now. The temperature is and has been 76-78°’s and RH has been 65-75. I use tap water at room temperature. The medium around the stem is coco noir that I started them in. They were repotted at 2 1/2 weeks old. I have had no other issues or problems other then them weeping this morning. After giving them a little drink, it took some time, they perked up. Lastly, I have given NO added nutrients. Hopefully I answered all your questions.
Amy

Current temp is 75, RH 70. I do use 2 small humidifiers which works okay but there is a central exhaust in this building that goes on three times a day which changes the RH but not by too much.
Btw, there is no invasion of my privacy. Thanks for asking for a picture! I will be getting a tent in a couple of weeks and have to be active in controlling the environment. The light from the window helps during the day I think. They are put into my bathroom for complete darkness every night for 6 hours.

Congratulations on getting them through the fourth week that is very crucial for the remainder of the grow. However I must warn you it’s time to make some serious changes from what you’ve been used to the last 4 weeks I’ll go over all that in a minute. Three fingers is normal vegetation stage growth. There’s nothing wrong nor do you need to do anything about it.

That’s perfect. How are you controlling that or are you?

1.) Do you have a pH meter, a ppm meter. If so can you take a picture of it and show me please.

  1. are you ph’ing the water that you are watering them with?

1 Not a very good idea to mix coco with soil. If you had to estimate in cups how many cups of coco is in the soil?

The weeping was due to them being thirsty and you smothering them lol

Okay I need to ask you what type of nutrients are you going to be using?

Thank you for the picture of your room we’ll go over that shortly.

I want you to take your time read this post answer these questions and we’ll execute a plan for the future

This is the environment they are in. With the white styrofoam behind them. As I think about it, the droopy one this morning did have a lot of moisture on it.
Okay, the domes are off the current temp is 75 and RH is 75. Tents have to be easier than this yet, I’ve enjoyed all of the work this far. I swear the plants and I are bonded :)!

While you’re answering the questions from the last post that I made I’m going to talk a little bit about your light…

First off I am no light expert in any sense of the word. For now here’s what we’re going to do below is a chart that the manufacturer suggests that you set your lights to this is a ballpark figure for now until you get your tent we’re going to go with it slightly edited

I want you to set your light 24 inches from the top of the canopy and I want you to move the percentage if you can to 65%. You are running your lights at 18 on and 6 hours off correct?

Okay. I turned the light up. Makes pure sense. This is too much like Chinese Medicine.
Anyway, thank you!

Oops, yes an 18/6 schedule.

Once you answer those questions about nutrients pH meter etc I can let you know what my recommendations are if you need

Do you have a good pH meter?
Do you have a way of testing EC/PPM ?

These are the products I’ve used this far and have to use in the future. So, the future may be here. I can check the EC is it? Idk if the Ph x 4 tester is any good but it’s way more precise than the other green ones I have that I’ve used before with other plants. I’ll be back when I have obtained the EC.

Have you already purchased nutrients?

The pH pen and the PPM pen unfortunately I can’t see the name of it if it’s a no name it’s 100% totally inaccurate junk we all have made the mistake and bought that. I’ve destroyed plants with that pen set people have destroyed crops with it. Unless it’s supported by a brand name I’ve enclosed a link below order this you’ll thank me later it’s the best 20 bucks you’ll ever spend in this hobby

I believe you said this is your first grow. I want to be honest and sincere with you when I tell you this. You’re at the point right now where everything you’ve been doing is going to change. Depending on the decisions that you make going into flower will determine the outcome of your growth.

It’s a possibility that you’re very close to running out of nutrients that are pre-charged in Happy frog soil meaning you’re going to have to use your own nutrients if you have not purchased nutrients I can make a recommendation to you.

30 day mark changes everything in a grow. Things can go south very very fast

I’m not quite sure what your education in growing is but I’m willing to help you out if you need my help. You made it this far and you’ve done a good job.

What’s in the gallon jug? The picture is a little unclear.

Good to know! Or grow I guess. Don’t want to lose anymore so I will purchase your recommendation. Until then, oh wait: these are the nutrients I purchased. After something successful I will attempt a grow with my homemade nutrients but not now.
So, until I get my pen just keep things where they are?

These are the current flying conditions. They look happy once again. Lights at 65% 24" above canopy (I used the light app on my phone for that measurement) and ta da so far :)!!!
