Removing leaves and flipping to 12/12

This may be a dumb question, but will removing about 4 or 5 fan leaves, and flipping to flower in the same day cause too much stress, or should I wait a few more days now?

Do you do that on the same day that you flip to flower, or a few days before you flip?

I do this the same day, then again weeks 3 and 6 of flower. Don’t count the 10-14 day transition period from preflower to flower…the stretch period
