I know this forum is ILGM based and have had nothing but success growing their seeds. Although I’m not sure if someone can shine some light on this situation of mine I recently picked up a little flower and opened the bag to see it all full of seeds. I’m not talking like one or two seeds in an OZ, I’m talking 20-30 seeds an OZ. Smells great and isn’t a bad high for how seeded it is. So question being, is it a possibility these seeds came from a hermie? Would it even be worth my time trying to grow any of these out?

If it was dispensary weed, most likely hermie, professional grower wouldn’t have a male anywhere near. If it was black market it could be 50/50 possible male. Hermie gene can run in a seed and not show, so you could use these. I use seeds from my hermie super skunk, and have not had a problem. My hermie was one of my favorite weeds

@Dennis62 would you possibly know then. If these were hermie seeds and I popped them would they all be female? Or would they be still 50/50. Sorry I’m new to all of this and just trying to learn some information and if I have viable seeds lol.

hermies will always be female, as a female puts off male flowers but they are only female genes but always be on the lookout for male flowers, cuz mom did it lol @Tjgrows

Seed accumulation and storage is a worthy pursuit.
Time for me to break out some male pollen and do a lady.
