Recommendations on new dehumidifier

Just moved into my new 4x8 tent and still with my dehumidifier in the tent temps go upwards of 83F with it out of the tent for the past ten minutes temp already down to 74F. Not sure but I’m thinking that’s alittle to high the 83F. If not please let me know. I’ve been looking at smaller units but all the ones I see are not adjustable. Any ideas?

Any thought of trying to run the dehumidifier in room the intake air comes from to control what goes in the tent? That’s what seemed to work best for me, especially with large dehumidifier.

I agree with @dbrn32 I recently moved my humidifier(warm mist) and just recently bought a cool mist for inside my room. My r/h sits at 67-70% consistant and temps at 77-79 F. So far its the best I have had my room controled . With just the warm mist inside my r/h would only b about 40% and temps would climb to 82-83F

I tried a small dehumidifier to no avail. Where im at all that will work is a dehumidifier that controls the humidity for the entire room. Ive had great success with it but the down side is i meed it most in summer _ they do put out a lot of heat. So its running my central a/cs running & a window unit as well in mu grow room for a 40x40x72 tent.

is this tent vented or r u running a sealed grow with Co2 induction.?

how big is the room the tent is in.?

what is the ambient RH/temp in the room.?

how do u control the ambient temp in the room.?

It is the new 4x8 tent vented no co2 at this time current temp is 73F. It’s in a cool roomso I don’t have to regulate the temp

like dbrn and Laura said…
control the room RH, like your temp, get the room RH right and the tent will be right.!

i’d suggest setting the room at 50%, when your lights come on the tent will get down into the 40’s, but this is the safest RH to maintain.!
