RDWC bright yellow leaf tips

Hi, hoping im posting in the right place.
Am in need of some assistance
Strain is GG#4.
HLG Scorpion Diablo LED.
8" AC Infinity exhaust + filter.
6" AC infinity intake.
DIY RDWC 150L system, 60L totes, Res is outside of tent, 2inch pvc.
Chiller.
Canna Aqua nutrients vega a+b, Cannazym, Rhizotonic, Floramax ca-ma-fe & Great white.
EC 1.2 to 1.3 (base is 0.1) stable sometimes drifting down a little.
PH always drifting up to 6.2 but girls seem to drink more at around 5.7/5.8.
Water temp 68F.
Temps have been good but have dropped down just this past week but not to much getting down to 65 - 68 but humidity is a concern reaching 75.
Have just added a heater & picking up a dehumidifier tomorrow.
Girls are 4.5 weeks old & have gone from 24 to 12/12 just 3 days ago.
Had a slight yellowing about 10 days ago that was fixed with calmag. I could be wrong but this looks like something different & would like to be more certain of what im dealing with instead of just throwing calmag at it or whatever else & hoping for the best.
light is almost 30" above canopy & at 60%
Roots are good

Welcome to the community grobro Plant looks healthy to me !
Nice set up . Like to see a pic of your plant :v:

Looking awesome dude. What you are most likely seeing is what we call painted nails. Nothing to worry about, shes just maxed out on nutes.

hello-welcome

I’m not familiar with the nutrient line but 1.2-1.3 EC seems a little low for a growing lady in hydroponics. Remember that she cannot get anything except what you give her.

I took a quick gander at Canna’s website. (By the way, their coco is fantastic so I have faith the nutrients are also good). Their target EC at week 2-4 is 1.8 and raises up to 2.0 for weeks 5-7 as you transition into the flowering phase.

I think this chart is assuming the EC of the water is 0.4 instead of 0.1 to start, but honestly I’d still aim for their final numbers.

Your instinct there is right. Keep them between 5.7 and 6.0 in veg, and allow them to wander from 5.8 to 6.2 in flower. They’ll want more P/K which absorb more readily at a higher pH.

I thought that at first glance, too, it seems more likely that she’s getting painted nails from the pH drift in this instance.

Thanks for the replies.
Seems to me the EC numbers that canna recommend are a bit high as far as for RDWC, but I guess they’re the experts.
I generally go by what the girls are telling me. While they are feeding (& drinking) & EC is going down ill bring it up until it stabilises & as long as water is going down & PH stable - slowly drifting up.
An EC of 1.3 seems as high as they want to go but then again ive not tried to go much higher.
When it comes to this shit im a bit OCD just ask my wife anyway ive just flushed & let it run for a couple hours with just PH water & will sart putting nutrients in soon.
Im still a bit concerned about these yellow & clawed tips
