Rapid Rooter Plug Question

Although i never had problems germinating seeds in the past i decided to try GH’s Rapid Rooter plugs for the first time. So Sunday morning I popped five seeds into five rapid rooter plugs. All five have sprouted and emerged. My question is how long should i wait until i transplant them into soil? And when i do transplant them i should just take the whole plug and drop it into the soil? Although common sense tells me that is the only way to go about it. Thanks for any input to this seemingly stupid question.

Welcome to the forum.
I’ve never used rapid rooters but I would assume they would be the same as the jiffy pods and plant when roots become visible. And yeah. Leave them together.
Hope this helps a bit. :v:

Welcome to the forum @NAZOG123

@Oldguy is correct you will want to transplant them when you see roots coming out of the plug. And you would put the whole plug and all in when you transplant. I’ve use rapid rooters and it worked really good

I’ve used a different brand, but same stuff. I agree with both above. And welcome to ILGM!

I usually wait until there are several bits of roots shooting out the sides/bottom.

Thanks for the prompt response. It is much appreciated. And I love this site. I love this forum. I love to grow marijuana. Hehe.

With that being said, How long on average does it usually take for the roots to get to that point once the seed has sprouted. I realize that it varies based on numerous factors but a general guestimation would be great.

Welcome to the best forum I’ve seen. I’m a beginner so will watch you to learn. Good luck

Not long at all, in my experience. Usually within a few days from sprout, you’ll start to see them poking through.
