You should post a few pics of whole plant in white light . The diamond nectar is a waste of money if you use floralicious. Ya are missing MaxiBloom. Koolbloom comes liquid and powder and are each different strength. Yes, add hydroguard

@bryan,@doobienoobie I have ordered these general hydroponics items maxigro, koolbloom, diamond nectar, floralicious. Would I still use hydroguard as well as these? Also my main concern today is my bad plant that had the bad root problem and cal deficiency bad should I remove all the affected leaves…

You’ll want to add calmag to that list if you don’t already have some. Probably sooner than later.

Yes already using cal mag. I’ve added until my ppm was 700 this week. Canceled the nectar, ordered maxi loom and liquid koolbloom per chart recommendations

New growth looks fine. How do roots look?

I’ve added peroxide twice now they are looking a lot better than what they were. Starting from the worst looking plant

And the better two

Why do you not want your top feed to constantly just recirculate the water?

Because you introduce the potential for stem rot. They get everything they need from roots in solution.

Even if I’m dumping the feed tube directly into the bucket bypassing the stem and rockwool. Reason I keep asking is my temps are between 70-71 in my grow buckets. The only way I can figure to lower the temp in the grow buckets is to take the feed tube run it all the way through the netpot out the bottom dumping directly into the water to keep the temp cooler. My reservoir is holding at 65F with the chiller

So you have to go through the top to recirculate? I would do that then unless one of the hydro guys have better suggestion.

Ya the return is gravity fed at the bottom and then I have a pump in the reservoir that has a hose that I run to each bucket through the net pot few inches above the water. If it doesn’t hurt doing it this way I could probally do 15 minutes every two hours and that would keep the grow buckets around 68F without getting the stalk or rockwool wet

I meant just run it so it goes back into other bucket. I would probably run it all the time too.

Sounds like they got you fixed up. You can definitely play with your pump run time until you find the right amount. If you can get better temps with more often then go for it. And I agree on the no top feed for the reason db said. And your roots are looking better. Those nice white ones are the healthy roots starting. You’ll probably see a increase in growth speed once they get enough.

So you guys don’t run pump constantly in recirculating system? Glad you posted!

Nope the heat from the pumps will start raising the water temperature over time. If his temp where the res is at was too cold he could run it more to help keep the temps up.

I can already notice a difference each day. I’m having a hard time doing the LST there is so much new growth. Today was my third dose of peroxide should I continue to use it every other day until the roots get better?

Is there any real “cheaper” way to cool the tent tempture besides air conditioner? I have a 4x4 tent 6” exhaust fan, 12” oscillating fan and a 4” intake coming from a 65F room. I’ve tried opening one of the vents and blow a fan in and didn’t change much. Seems since I put the water chiller in my temps in the tent are upwards of 78.98F

Is that why an inline pump is preferred, and if you had such would you run it constantly?
