Ran out of nutrients half way through what do I do?

I’m running a RDWC system with 16 gallons of water I’m on my second week of bergmans growtime nutrients and ran out of what they sent me. Full strength calls for 60.9g. I had about 23g. Is that going to screw anything up being short and what could I do in the mean time? Also what nutrient would you recommend to replace it with until I can get bergmans because I can’t get bergmans within a week

I didn’t realize they suggested almost 4 grams per gallon. Do you have a hydro shop nearby? Or are you ordering online no matter what? If you’re ordering online, is amazon preferred?

Ya in not sure who told me but it recommends .9g per liter and I believe they said 3.85 liters per gallon. I used full strength last week and they perked up from what they were. Nearest hydro shop is 40 minutes away atleast amazon is usually perfered

I’m good with that, just wanted to know where to go looking.

So you’re wanting a small amount of grow nutrients available on amazon just to hold you over until you can get more of the bergmans stuff?

Something like this should do if that’s the case.

And also was wondering the bergmans chart shows for hydro but people are telling me to use 1/2 strength. Why would they show what to use for hydro if it is not correct? What am I really susposed to follow?

That’s much appreciated! The stuff linked above should be relatively easy for you to use. If you visit the gh website you should be able to find easy to use schedule for it.

I’m sure there are plenty of other products that would fit as well. I just went looking for an inexpensive product that should do reasonable job as stand alone powdered nutrient.

@Fluffy is in RDWC if you didn’t catch that.

I would recommend one of the GH products like the Flora series: it’s designed for hydro.

Correct but do I follow the manufactures dosages or use 1/2 strength like a lot of people have been telling me? I was on a different platform and got a lot of bad info and possibally losing a plant because of their advice

Maxigro is water soluble and recommended for recirculating hydroponic systems.

Awsome! Thanks again for all the help and such a quick response when I needed it! I was paying on the last site and am still waiting for a response from the guy since last Tuesday. That’s why I dropped him and moved over here 100%

Happy to have you and glad to be of assistance.

I missed your question about the recommended strength sorry. I don’t have any hydro experience, and only a little knowledge of the nutes. I wouldn’t really be able to comment one way or the other. I always assume whatever any specific manufacturer recommends to be a guideline, and your best results could be at lower or sometimes higher dosage. The best policy I’ve found is to mix at suggested ratios that put me in general ppm range for whatever stage of growth I’m in. After that, just kind of watch plants for feedback and take notes for future use.

Typically half strength is perfect for me in hydro. Much more and it starts showing signs of excesses. That nutrient will work just fine there’s a few here that used it in hydro. I think @bryan used Maxi series on his last grow so he might know for sure?

Maxi powdered nutes is a good way to get your feet wet in rdwc. You need to think about what will be most cost effective for you Res changes really can up a lot of nutes/cash. Starter kits usually contain enough stuff to grow a soil plant start to finish

Thanks for that info. What would you recommend In place of the flowertime and boost?

@bryan,@doobienoobie I have ordered these general hydroponics items maxigro, koolbloom, diamond nectar, floralicious. Would I still use hydroguard as well as these? Also my main concern today is my bad plant that had the bad root problem and cal deficiency bad should I remove all the affected leaves or leave them growing? And lastly after adding the chiller into the system I have my. Reservoir At 65F but my grow buckets still hanging around 70F with only having the recirculating pump going 15 minutes every 4 hrs?

You should post a few pics of whole plant in white light . The diamond nectar is a waste of money if you use floralicious. Ya are missing MaxiBloom. Koolbloom comes liquid and powder and are each different strength. Yes, add hydroguard
