Rain showers into flowering

Hey all its me again, i have a question will light rain showers cause mold into flowering. I think i am maybe 2 weeks into flowering. I shaked the excess water off each time and started tying up my colas so the weight doesnt break them off. Does anyone have any suggestions am i just being a hypochondriac again? Thanks in advance. The one has stronger branches than the chemdog. Ive also noticed some of the pistils are starting to darken on the ends

I think i uploaded the same one twice haha

It will in time if they stay wet or the humidity stays high. Over 60 ish percent.
Once the buds thicken up a bit more you’ll have to be vigilant with daily checks.
You may see some wpm show up as well on the leaves.

As long as they are drying out asap the rain shouldnt be an issue. Its more of a concern if they stay wet for long periods of time or stay in high humidity for long stretch of time but a day or so of rain shouldnt impact them. My plants loved the rain.

Luckily the humidty is now gone around here. For the year i think, is it ok the shake them then?

Absolutely.
I just slip a branch between a couple fingers and just give them a quick shake.
Usually knocks the worst of it off.

Lucky you :joy:
Humidity is Still in the high 80’s and up around here and mine are a few weeks further along than yours into flower.
Already dealing with the mold.

I am soooo paranoid, because they are really starting to frost up now and smell good i topped one and not the other kind of an experiment to see how each one does

I just worry about shaking them too hard lol

I leave a little gap between my fingers and the stem so it’s more of a tapping motion that I do than a shake.
Some folks use leaf blowers to get them dry if running bigger plants.

I have a question one of my girls leaves has light white splotches on it that i whiped off with a wet paper towel. Some of them i defoliated, is there an antifungal i can whipe on the leaves themselves to repel fungus i have cjdb. Captain jacks dead bug but i dont want to spray the whole plant now that its flowering

@Godsgarden Sounds like some white powdery mildew. You can use a 50/50 mix of peroxide and water to spray it down with.
The capt jacks won’t kill the mildew unfortunately.
Get a bit more air flow around them if you can.

My chemdog girl had a bad spot the other day i just ended up defoliating. Havent noticed any more on it.
