Questions about FF trio

I use the entire line, top to bottom, at full strength, and twice per week, or more correctly, every other watering, which works out to roughly twice per week…

So, the dirty dozen stater kit, was sledge hammer part of that kit?

Also, no Rhize up? In starter kit, what is it?

Sledgehammer is not part of the Dirty Dozen. And is needed. I don’t use Rhize Up, as I use other Mycos supplements. I also don’t use the Flower Kiss foliar spray that is included with the DD.

Sledgehammer will make for a quicker flush, with less water. I think “needed” is too strong of a word. I need oxygen. Flushing with 3x volume of pot in water, will give you the same effect. It is very time consuming if you have more then 1 or 2 plants though.

IMO, there are a few items in the dirty dozen you may wish to part out from other lineups. Fox Farm calmag is pretty diluted compared to others. I use TPC calmag for example. It only takes 2ml per gallon to satisfy plants needs vs an entire tsp of FF calmag per gallon. Ive not alot of experience with mycos or microbes, but a simple compost tea, with some molasses and myco of your choosing will get you alot further with less innoculations then the FF version. To be clear Im not saying one is better then the other, its more about cost.

I’m not entirely sure that water only will do what Sledgehammer does. Although it may. Sledgehammer is derived from saponin (a terpenoid), and causes a chemical reaction to break down the salts left behind from using their products.
