We’re your trichomes turning amber or just all cloudy before you flushed them?
My bad as soon as i started seeing amber I fed her two more times then cut off nutes for the last 2 weeks
My second plant is already cut off and has about 3 weeks left so this one may eat itself more
I had the same questions Bozzzzz. I had 3 Acapulco Gold ladies that I harvested at different times just to be safe. I don’t know what to tell you on when to start flushing, but I do know the buds I harvested without flushing taste fine. I have yet to sample the ones that were flushed. If I notice a difference in the taste I will let you know. Good luck.
A new problem that has arisen is the very top colas are getting very heavy and a couple of my girls are beginning to hang toward the sun. I’m afraid the tops might snap in a heavy breeze.
When we flush its for salt build up not washing nutes away just wanted to share.
String em up to help support their weight and look at using silica next time round 
I do 3 days of flush, 3 more days in tent to dry a bit, and 3 days of dark. I aim for a 9 day dry and a 30 day cure. I use Humboldt secret grow series and flushing absolutely helps me. Keeps the ash grey and white and keeps the harshness down.
Do you trim wet or dry, or both?

It can make a smoother smoke make it less harsh clean ash. if its grey throw away if its white its right! It will make a better product in the end cleaning the salts. If ur using synthetic you’ll get much more buildup go with a water water fertilizer water some dry on time you should be fine Organics you do not want to flush. You want to build your soil with the nutes.
I do a mix. Wet to get the most light in. Then bigger leafs after dark right before hanging, and a final trim before jars. But I’m always trying new things so kinda whatever works or is needed. What’s worked best for you?
This is one large bud off one of my GDP plants. I’ve had my hands full with seven large plants all ripening around the same time. I’ve been trying to cut them three days apart in order to have time to manicure each one properly. The last two plants and the biggest two plants are in the barn now for lights out before chopping in two days.
