Looking at my driver in the above picture, how do I dim the light? Do I just pop off the black āplugā and use a screwdriver?
My other question is does it need to be dimmed for seedlings/sprouts?
Yes. Plug your model driver into the youtube search and you can watch someone show you how.

Yes, remove plug and use #1 Phillipās to turn IO adjust.
That light is good for flowering up to 2x2ā space.

Iām pretty sure you want board voltage at about 53-54v on v1 288.

There is a VO adjust and an IO adjustā¦itās a V1 135.

The typical operation would be to just use the current to change power levels.

Eek good question! I think the screws to attach board to heatsink are m3, let me do some digging.
Editā¦ I canāt find exact size. I would probably go with something like m3 x at least 7-8mm. It needs to clear pcb thickness and engage threads on heatsink. A little too long wouldnāt really hurt because the fins on heatsink provide a lot of dead space for remainder of screw to hang out.
You could also probably call/email hlg and ask. They may even send you some if the believe you are a customer.
thanks! i had emailed a few days ago and actually they did just get back to meā¦ M3 for the boards and M5 for the driver. slim pickings on amazon these days so ordered a random set and hope they workā¦ weāll see. i cleaned this house out not even two weeks ago after being full construction stuff for three years and NOW the plague has us all indoors i need everything. of course.
just waiting on my power cords and wagos and iāll be set!

Hey, got a question for you. Iāve seen you talking about these quantum led boards in a couple diff forums and have been thinking about switching over one of my flowering rooms from HPS to ledās. Do you think that the ledās are better than MH/HPS with air cooled ballasts? And if so, what type/size of board would I need for each 1,000w hps or mh I switch out? ā¦oh, and about what would all the stuff I need cost?

I like hlg boards the v2 red specs are nice. Im currently running the budgetled full spec boards. There out of the boards only. But they make a light thats full spec. To equal 1000watts you will need a total of 4 boards. And acutually i have 4 boards as 1 light in my othere tent. And it can put out so much light i can bleach the flowers with too much light.

Iāve never ran ledās before. ā¦guess Iām kinda old fashioned n all that. Lol. Whatās a good average yield per watt with ledās (basically Iām just wondering if Iād get at least as much with a 4 board setup, like you have, as I would from a 1,000w HPS? Do you think itās worth it switching over from Hidās? Also bro, about how much would would all the parts needed to build one thatās equivalent to a 1000w HPS?

I run my lights in 4x4 tents. I have 3) 4x4 tents and 1 9āx9ā and 3) 2āx4ā so i use. Soon though ill have 4 new v3 spec boards.
