So I’ve attempted to grow my first Autoflower this year. It’s called Alaska purple, or purple Alaska or something like that. I switched in the hopes of getting a shorter time to harvest and I put it outside in a pot. It’s coming along okay, but I really expected it to be finished by now. Started it indoors mid April or so, moved it Outdoors around the 12th of May. It is budding up, top Cola is so heavy it’s bending it over as a matter of fact. Tricomes are mostly cloudy and there are simply no Amber trichomes on it. My question is how long before this thing finishes up? Also, do autoflowers switch back to solar control if you put them outside? I had to remove some buds due to worm problems, and in that process I save the good parts of those buds and have been smoking them just to kind of test where the plant is. Currently it gives a pretty good little high. The lack of Amber trichomes makes me really hesitant to harvest at this point though, are there varieties that the trichomes don’t go Amber on? Anyway, appreciate any thoughts people have on this. I’ll see if I have some photos on my camera to at least give you a guy’s a bit of a look at the plant.
