Will those test buds be as good as the rest of the plant? Can’t wait to get the mag lens I’ll send you some good pics of the buds after I figure out how to use it. So the buds will be cured at 63% humidity in the mason jar? Where do you get the humidity gauges for the jars? Never heard of them!! She’s getting stinky now, smells like cat piss lol. Where do you live? In the U.S.?
They’re not as good because they’re typically immature. But they can still pack a punch. I’m in Texas a little south of Houston. These are the mini hygrometers

I’m in the right range for humidity 77° between 50 and 60% according to the chart you sent!! Thanks I’ll send some pics Tue or Wed with my new lens. Everything looks good and healthy thanks to your help!! I’m here in Massachusetts north of Boston on the NH border. Haverhill, MA. Stay Safe Bobby!! Blessings!!!
I have the Apera ph tester! Is this already calibrated?@BobbyDigital
No, you’ll need to calibrate before use.
I broke a branch with a big bud on it. I taped it up and put toothpicks on both sides to keep it straight. I tied it up so it would get more light also. Do you think it will heal up or die? I was trimming a little off the plant and it got caught on my shirt sleeve!!
I should have named myself the pest in stead of BamBam!! Do you think the branch I broke will heal up? @BobbyDigital. I haven’t heard from you. Your probably sick of hearing from me with all my stupid questions!! Sorry bro but I trust your knowledge and advice!! Blessings BamBam!!
Sorry man! Sometimes when you reply to someone it doesn’t notify them. Works better to tag. The break really depends on the severity. I split my Maui about 2” down the center of the stalk. Crammed the wound with aloe an electrical taped her up. She never skipped a beat
Mine will be ready in a couple of weeks. She’s looking good but I’m not going to get much of a bounty! They look great, definitely Sativa! The trics are getting milky.
that lens is awesome. Thanks for recomending it to me. Still haven’t calibrated my ph meter yet. I bought some triple chocolate chip at the dispensery and found 1 seed in it. Hoo ya another free plant coming soon this is Indica and the girl that gave me the seed for the sativa has 4 more seeds for me too!! I have back surgery in Boston today. This ought to be fun lol. I hope you can see the pics ok. My hands shake it’s hard to get a good pic. Send me a couple of close up pics of the Mowie plant so I can check it out. God Bless! Stay Safe bro!!Back surgery?! That’s no joke. I’m wishing you the best outcome and full recovery!
Did you remove the wide angle lens? It should go from this:
To this:
Then just clip it on the phone and zoom your phone all the way in. Then get your phone really close to the plant. It does get a bit shaky.
This was the maui a few days ago. I went out of town for a few weeks and the wife never fed them, only watered. Gonna have to pump her full of synthetic nutes to help them bounce back. I’ll grab some close ups when she wakes up.
Thoughts are with you through your surgery.
Thanks bro! Feeling pretty good. I had a spinal stimulator implant that couldn’t be adjusted since 2016. Finally found a Dr that would remove it in Boston. It was outpatient surgery, everything went great. Took 2yrs to find a surgeon to remove it. That plant looks great!! It looks about 3ft tall. I did use the micro lens on the clip and the light that comes with it camera zoomed and that’s how bad my balance and shakey hands get pics. I wanted to see the one that you split the stalk on? Accident or purposely?send me a pic or 2. I’ll check back with you in a day or 2 God Bless!!
The plant looks ok to me. The leaves are curling down some and the ends of some of the leaves look dead on the tips. Mine are dry like that on the tips. What does that mean? They are like that on the little fan leaves coming from the buds on mine. Should I be trimming those off anyway? My hands and body wabble too much to see the trics but I did see some redish on one of the buds but from what I could see on the others was mostly clear still maybe a little milky. Drinking a lot
The fan leaves on this bud, do you trim them? My buds aren’t getting any bigger. I put the light closer to the plant, it was too far away. It’s 21" from the bend on the stalk and about 16" from the highest bud. It seems to be at a halt. My leaves look like yours on the tips are those crumbly? I don’t know if I should use just water and some cal mag?or add the tiger bloom and Humbolts? You can pull that tear back together with rubber vacuum line and a hose clamp!
She’s going to be fine. That’s what they look like when they don’t get the nutrition they’re looking for. This Maui is a heavy feeder so I’m surprised she doesn’t look worse off after 2 weeks with no nutes. It didn’t phase the Buddha much at all but she has been a light feeder.
The split is healed, just the scar remains. Just packed some aloe in the wound and electrical taped it up for a few weeks. She didn’t even wilt as a result of the split.
The tips aren’t crumbly but will be soon enough. The leaves won’t recover but she’ll continue to build.
Come harvest time, I’ll take all the leaves that have visible stems off then hang the whole plants to dry. I‘ll remove the rest of the little leaves sticking out after she dries. I used to wet trim completely before hanging but found it dries slower leaving the leaves on.
The tips of the leaves on my plant are crumbly. The small fan leaves growing out of the buds. What does that mean? I’m thinking I need to trim all those leaves and make some tea lol. I haven’t really trimmed much since the first time when I stripped her down. I watered today with just the tiger bloom and cal mag. The big bloom sucks it doesn’t mix at all it’s too heavy. It settles to the bottom. My daughter’s ex boyfriend recommended something better and cheaper and the only nutrients you need said it works great. I want to cut a top off the plant and try it out!! Your plants always look great. I wish I was your neighbor haha!! What’s the buda look like? Send a couple of pics if you want.
The Buddha is the one pictured above. You have a pic of your burnt tips? That’s odd your big bloom isn’t mixing. Are you vigorously shaking the bottle before measuring it out and pouring it in your water?
Yes I shake the shit out of it. If you have some mix up a gallon and let it set for a few hours and you’ll see it all settled on the bottom. My son said I should cut my plant down tonight. He said the red hairs are disappearing and it loosing it’s potency!! I took a couple of pics today. I couldn’t get a very good one, shaking and wabbly. I’ll send it tell me what you think. It’s not even milky yet I think. I say a couple more weeks, but you know better than me.
this is the only one I could get.All nutrients will do that. That’s why it’s important to shake the nute bottles because it all settles. I don’t let the solution sit out that long. It gets mixed, ph’d and given to the plant.
What’s the whole plant look like? From that pic there’s still a lot of clear and will do yourself a disservice by chopping.
