I got another 40 seeds in the mail today, shoooot, that is going to be bananas very soon…![]()
I just went and checked my soil pH and also our water ( spring) pH.
I must admit it is because of you guys, you got me kind of nerves, I never check pH before, don’t use any chemicals, not even bought organic fertilizer… Only composted rabbit and chicken manure …
Here are the results
Water 6.5
Soil 6.5 - 6.8 depending what spot in the garden I get it from…
Anyway, resting much easier now, better safe than sorry
Thanks everyone !
It’s always better to know…
Yes, it is …
New members of the project family have been born today…Strawberry Cake feminized

Welcome girls !
If I take anything away from this site, I will never forget as long as I live, ProMix Black bag is not dirt

Yeah, I enjoy it very much !!!
Here is my babies day care…
They don’t have easy childhood, the temps at night are in low 50’s , the extra lighting is very primitive…but they are fighters, they growing, slow, but steady…
I hate to be dumb but, that looks like something of a melon or squash, cuke maybe? lol in the last picture.
That’s early summer squash, I also have started tomatoes and peppers, figured if peppers make it through the cold nights, the cannabis will too, so far all OK, just slow growth, but that was expected…
Sunbathing , girls seem to enjoy it, its theirs first time out, just for a few hours…!
Making progress I think, at much slower pace than some of you guys, but I am OK with it …
Its a survival of the fittest ![]()
They will go bananas when they get in the ground my friend.
You didn’t waste any time with the 1 gallon pots I see.
I use your advise for the next batch , will be germinating another platoon in a few weeks …
Yeah, project bananas !!!
I am germinating another batch of 30 seeds, this time straight in the soil…
At the beginning I say d its a project, to find, to prove or disprove, to embrace or abandon…
Methods, strains, seed banks…
Its been 4 weeks , I already know few results…
First thing first :
If it comes to germinating seeds methods make NO significant difference at all, none whatsoever…
What’s important is freshness of the seed and GENETICS !!!
As long as the temp and humidity is OK, soaking, paper towel, straight into soil…makes no difference…
